🌀TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY🌀

Before and after of one of the (many 🙈) projects we’re yet to post from last year…

This gorgeous garden in Eastergate was designed and transformed by our team in June 2021. Tying in the old to new, we used a number of reclaimed materials to create edging and a feature dry brick wall; the perfect setting for insects to hide and a beautiful boundary to keep the family dog inside the garden.

Through the original pergola a patio area, made from Bradstone Old Riven paving slabs, houses geometric raised sleeper beds for planting and growing vegetables. It’s also the perfect spot for sitting in the afternoon/evening sun and enjoying a glass of wine with the neighbours!

At the back of the garden, a small step up leads to a new potting shed where the couple can fulfil their love of gardening; sowing seeds and storing pots, tools and soil.

Finally, fresh turf was installed in the remainder of the garden, complete with stepping stones and an additional paved area outside of the summer house.

CONCEPT PLANS ✏️🌿

The initial stages of design where we produce different ideas based on the clients requests. In this case, the brief was fairly simple: inject some character and more planting opportunities into a basic new build garden.

We looked at different ways of increasing space for garden furniture, creating pathways to lead towards the hot tub and a number of raised planting areas; all whilst maintaining the large lawn area for the children to play.

Concepts are the perfect way to see the options that are available to you. The client is able to pick and choose what they like and dislike, and from here, we are able to create the final design and technical plans!

We delivered these panels to the customer a couple of weeks before the work started so they could get them painted. This shade of grey is just gorgeous and compliments the new patio perfectly 👌🏼

This gorgeous transformation features a brand new patio area and a newly turfed lawn, with a huge flower bed ready for planting.

It’s important to remember that transforming your garden doesn’t always mean brand new materials...reclaiming what we could from the original patio, the team have given the old slabs a new lease of life; creating another patio area which follows the original pathway around the side of the house.

Our customers A&N haven’t had much luck with the recent weather. We replaced the first fence back in November after the winds took it down and the second just yesterday; using solid wooden posts and panels to ensure that this won’t happen again! 💪🏼🌿
