Good morning all,

Firstly, thank you to those that have reached out and kept us in your thoughts whilst my daughter has gone through yet another operation. We appreciate you 🤗
~ Hence why I’ve not been around so much on this page!
Happy to report, she is recovering well 🥰 She’s been ever so strong and brave 💪🏼 (more details in my stories ❤️😌) and taking full advantage of having me run up and down the stairs for her ~ it’s actually not much different to her normal teenage behaviour tbh 😂

On another note, I’m sharing my Gonks/ Gnomes/ Elves - whichever you prefer to call them ☺️
I’m currently making some more sage green ones as not surprisingly, these are in demand yet again! You guys can’t get enough of the sage green!

Well firstly, excuse the poor photos! Taken one evening as there’s just not enough hours in the day at the moment! 🕰️

So I bought this guitar back in lockdown, making it yet another challenge to learn something new…
I think I learnt how to tune it and how to strum without any tune at all 😂 until my fingertips decided they weren’t hardy enough 😂

I was yearning to start learning again though so I decided to make a macramé wall hanger for the guitar to encourage me to pick it up more regularly, rather than it be hidden away in the case!

This concept is definitely working… I’ve now learnt 3 chords and my singing with it is a sight for sore eyes (and ears 😉) … but at least I’m having fun with it, right?! 🙈

There’s also a little place created to pop the guitar pick so I don’t lose it all the time 😊

The cork wreath is finished! 🙌🏼

Could it do with a bow to finish or should I leave it be? I can’t decide! 🤷🏼‍♀️

The wreath is covered in natural champagne/prosecco corks and forest green moss, with the addition of a beautiful, artificial festive sprig with some dried orange slices for that ultimate Christmas seasonal feel 🎄🍊

Hope you’ve all had a good week, how is it nearly the end of the week again?! These weeks are just wizzing by. Which reminds me… I have just finished a large painting commission for a surprise gift for Christmas, something that I’d never done before but was more than happy to give it a go - so I’ve been head down into it and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out 🤗
It’ll be a while before I can show you but I did want to just remind you - if you are after anything customised or completely bespoke for Christmas, please get in touch sooner rather than later 😊

As soon as I clamped my eyes on this beautiful new Christmas make from .designs , I knew I had to get one personalised for each of my two doggos! 🐶

I’m in the middle of making some more of these mini macramé wreaths at the moment as I sold out of them last year. This year, I thought I’d try with the wreath colour in white, rather than the beige - I look forward to showing you them soon!

I’m kinda dreading getting the glue gun out though as once it’s out, it stays out until I shut my business up for Christmas 🤣 It’s a busy old time! 🙈

I do love this type of knot around the wreath! It gives such a pretty finish, don’t you think? ☺️

Well it’s officially A u t u m n 🍁 I do love this season! 🍂 It’s so enjoyable to get out with the dogs and explore again, without the worry that it will get too hot for them 🐾 🐾 Many a memory in Autumn has inspired these creations pictured - those woodland walks spotting acorns and toadstools 🍄 That noticeable ‘crunch’ from those crispy leaves under foot 🥾 and the many yummy, warming hot chocolates and lattes consumed ☕️🤭

** Signs in Situ 🍾 🍷

I know it’s been ages since I posted - I am not managing to keep up with socials at all! Apologies for this - thank you so much for your likes, comments, tags and messages - your ongoing support is second to none, thank you 🥺

I wanted to share these photos as it’s a bit of a proud moment for me and it’s so important to celebrate the wins in business ☺️

My cork signs are now in position in the Booths supermarkets up in the North of England 🙌🏼

Pictured here are the Windermere and Kendall stores that a friend’s parents have very kindly snapped a photo of whilst visiting - I’m so, so grateful as I am based right on the South coast so unfortunately, I cannot easily see them in situ in the shops! 🤗

I’ve had a few enquiries about some white stained wooden letters filled with the natural cork, would this be something of interest? I think the cork would really ‘pop’ against the white! 🤍

How is it 9 years today?

I don’t even want to think about where I’d be now if it was not for my father’s donation of his wonderful, strong kidney.

Things have been great and settled up until now but it’s time to change things up a bit. It’s time for me to take some action and try and make this transplant last as long as it physically can 💪🏼

I have so much to look forward to and this kidney, well there won’t be another kidney like this one 😌

Let’s just say, I’m on my own mission to feel better in every way, both physically, mentally and emotionally. I’m just hoping my medication can work with me whilst I work on myself, rather than against me (those pesky side effects!) 🙏🏼

I think I may have a new favourite flower… these beautiful sweet peas (at least I think they are sweet peas 🤔 ) have lasted since a certain birth date on 22nd April! 😯

They are just starting to wilt but they’ve been the prettiest little bunch ever! 💐
