The new AMD EPYC 9704 CPUs, codenamed Bergamo, offer an unprecedented 128 cores, way more than any other X86 CPU on the market. This leap forward in core density is made possible be adjusting the Zen 4 architecture in 96-core EPYCs into a new variant called Zen 4c.
