Bathroom refurb done in farnworth, a really nice job maximising the available space to fit a nice free standing bath with feature wall featuring nice l.e.d strip lighting and also a big enough shower enclosure for practicality, wall hung vanity and l.e.d mirrored cabinet, back to wall concealed cistern wc which we built the stud work for which also allowed us to fit a custom niche for the bath shampoos etc. fully tiled room with fresh plastered ceiling, all brass and black fixtures fittings and trims. All Supplied by @walkden_bath_centre. 9 day turn around. Electrician to finish his couple of bits then this is all complete. 55m of 900x600x15mm limestone floor done this week over in Westhoughton, laid over wet underfloor heating system, anti fracture matting laid, tiled, sealed and grouted. Turned out stunning.💙🔥🧽

Wet room/bathroom renovation done in Bolton. We were given an amity room with just hot and cold feeds in and a drawing, along with some large 900x900 porcelain tiles and a bronze bathroom suite to work with, every single tile in this bathroom had to be cut or drilled in some way or another. concealed wall hung Wc and wall hung basin, tiled shower base, and fully tiled room with custom niches with led lighting. A lot of work went into such a small room but it’s turned out stunning and clients are very happy. Just waiting on a l.e.d mirror to finis. We Start a new one tomorrow. 🛁💪🏻
Underfloor heating and tile floor installation. Jackon 10mm Tile backer boards glued using bal rapid flex one and also screwed to substrate for its insulation benefits making the most out of the underfloor heating so we are warming the room and not under the house maximising efficiency. Cosy toes heating mats laid out controlled by 2 thermostats one for hallways and one for kitchen diner, matting levelled over using bal level max compound to protect the cable whilst tiling and also give us a flat level surface to tile on. Tiled in 1200x600 porcelain tiles finished in Webber platinum grout with a soft colour match joint at the doorway between hallways and kitchen which will compensate any expansion caused by the 2 floors heating and cooling at different rates to eachother. 🔥🦶🧽. When there’s enough room on the window frame and tile size allows it’s good set out the window wall to avoid any “L” and “R” cuts around the window for a clean look and easier job. Both bathrooms on this job had 620mm window openings with 600’mm tile, so we spun the trim round opposing the normal way we do it (thick side out) and over ran the cuts by 10mm allowing the reveal cuts to sit behind perfectly #clean #window #tiling #bathroomdesign 🧽🔥💯🛁

In tiling setting out is everything it’s worth spending that extra time to get it looking the best it possibly can, not only for a clean look but for an easier install too. When you get to build the bathroom from scratch your in a position to set things like wall niches exactly where you want them to best suit tile layout. We think this one worked out perfectly.
