P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : fitting into pre pregnancy clothes! ❤️

I’m over the moon this week as I tried some of my pre pregnancy clothes on, some of my size 6 & 8 clothes that I haven’t been touched in ages and I thought about throwing them out till I put them on and actually felt comfortable then bloody proud so had to share! 😅

Of course PP : our bodies change & if anything I advise buying a new wardrobe ( I’ve bought lots of new clothes ) to suit your new body as every body changes even if it’s just slightly. Buy clothes to fit your body. Don’t make your body fit your clothes. Remember sizes are different everywhere too, try then buy. Feel confident and happy. 😀

If you can fit back into pre pregnancy clothes then awesome you have saved some pennies but if you can’t please don’t add this pressure to yourself it’s so unnecessary when clothes come in all sizes for us to buy! Find your new fit to suit you mama 💟

P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : journalling ❤️

A wonderful gift from my amazing friend & this gift has been with me weekly all of my post partum period. It’s help my mental health no end. One thing I would definitely recommend is journaling, getting all those thoughts out of the mind, to help you focus & be present. Mental health is so important 🤍

P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : getting a little workout in ❤️
The bounce back culture after having a baby is toxic, 7 months PP and I’m on my own journey! My priority is my baby & being a good mama and above all my mental health, but sometimes I get 20 minutes to myself & I like to make the 20 minutes count, I like to make those 20 minutes count for something I love to do.. we are back, slowly, not amazing reps - but we are here at least😎🏋️‍♂️

My incredible client has done it again👏🏻👏🏻‼️‼️⭐️⭐️

My client Christine sets goals and achieves them. This is incredible. Today she climbed Snowdon! 🚶🏼‍♀️

Snowdon is 1085 meters high. It took them 7 hours there and back plus an hour for lunch at top! 31908 steps today her legs are described as jelly 😂

I’m so proud of Christine and of course Amanda too they are so pleased with themselves too as she said it was very hard in places but they did it! Which means they have now done the 3 peaks!! 🏅

Christine pushes herself & stays accountable. She is extremely fit and has come such a long way. Having done Ben Nevis a few weeks back & Catbells just a few weeks ago Skafell Pike - here she is again. JUST WOW. I’m just ever so proud. WELL DONE!! 💫

P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : stretch mark recovery ❤️

No filter!!

My stretch marks were dark purple / red. All along my legs from growing during pregnancy. Now 7 months PP here they are - no filter. Just moisturising every day, with & using Aloe Vera gel & Elemis brightening cream. Can’t believe how much they have changed. I made a promise to myself to look after my skin more this year and I love my stretch marks due to their meaning, I really don’t mind them being there but this is still such an achievement for the summer days when I want to get my legs out 🌞 🫶🏼

P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : healthier snacking❤️

This weaning is getting fun. It’s even helping me eat healthier snacks this postpartum.. I’m even being adventurous with cooking. With avoided extra seasoning and all processed foods it’s helping me eat healthier too. Healthy baby. Healthy mama 🫶🏼

P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : lower heart rate ❤️

For those who know me know I have a heart condition, I have a high heart rate doing anything. During my pregnancy my heart rate was extremely high. The pressure of growing another human got to my condition a lot. Post pregnancy I felt the need to keep healthy mainly for my heart and it’s condition to regulate myself once again. We all know the heart is a muscle and can be trained. My resting heart rate has always been in its 60s. Not terrible not amazing - for me that is and my fitness levels that I’ve been at, but with this condition I’ve never quite been able to get it low. However. This week.. I reached a resting heart rate of 50! I was not asleep I was simply on the sofa, with my baby girl asleep on my chest (pure zen and happiness I knows & it shows) my heart has clearly been recovering and training with our little postpartum walks and workouts & has got to such a healthy low for me. Im super proud of this small milestone 🫶🏼

1345 meters a total of 44948 steps. 12 hours to complete there and back. We summited at 13-30! Both of them super tired but wow what an achievement please be so proud of yourselves. 🏅

Protein, Carbs & Fats. A mixture of all for my baby girl. And how it should be for adults too!

When making an evening meal for us & Raela I always think about the nutritional value. My mum always taught me about colourful plates before I knew anything on nutrition and I plan to do the same for Raela. To teach her about colour and energy.

Weaning is going so well. We are even having sips of water now we are past 6 months, this hot weather and more solids means a few sips as and when.

Food here a mix of BLW and purée
Butternut squash, cheesy, pasta (thicker puree) 🧀
Spinach Pea and broccoli (thinner purée) 🥦
Carrot puff 🥕 (finger food)
Blueberry & Oat bake 🫐 (finger food)

When the time comes I’m gonna be sweating for the wedding! Can’t quite believe my life right now..💍 Mrs D to be 🥹12 years with my best friend and yesterday he asks me the question! Unbelievably grateful for this life. Joe I’m so in love with you. Thank you for being mine & loving me..😭🫶🏼💍❤️

P O S T P A R T U M - small wins : loose jeans 👏🏻👖

Slowly but surely.. not adding pressure is the way. Don’t add stress, roll with your new life, the new waves of being a mama. Your new happiness. Your new body is just as beautiful. Your new health will follow. Definitely not the same as before I was a mummy but this is a new me & I’m proud. A body that made a home, grew a child & had serious surgery. A body that’s stretched with the marks to show & the scars to join. So this for sure is a personal journey & simply to show that I no longer need these jeans woohoo a point that I should be proud to document 📄👌🏼

My 6 month old is on her journey & I’ve found even more love for health and nutrition than I already had. 🤩

I’m so passionate about health, fitness and but with Raela starting to eat things other than milk I find myself getting ever so excited.
🙌🏻

Im so ready to teach Raela about Protein, Carbs & Fats. Getting all her and micronutrients. To help her grow, to help her hair, skin, nails. To help her organs function and hormones balance. To teach her to never see a individual food as good or bad. To view food as our source. To build a good, strong, healthy approach and love for food. To discuss colour plates and all flavours. The way we teach our about food can set them for life. 👌🏼

Tonight egg was a was a hit. The and mix is going well, we have discovered Raela quite prefers the spoon over her hands but tonight with egg she didn’t seem to mind. of my superstar already. 🫶🏼
