What a wonderful creative afternoon we had this Sunday at the lovely light filled The Beehive Studio. Thank you all for coming and taking the time to step out of your busy lives to connect with your creative selves at my workshop. It was a real pleasure to bare witness! Hello to you all! Happy New Year. Hoping that you all had a good, fun and relaxing (whatever you needed) Christmas and start to the new year!
I have my first group Creative Painting Workshops up here in Farnham, Surrey on Saturday 25th February and then in Bournemouth on Sunday 12th March. People have already started to book, I am very excited! Please message/email me if you would to reserve your place.

I have just had a blast from the past... (is that a saying?) I came across the radio interview that I did 18 months ago. Made me smile, cringe a bit with all the 'ums' and cry with how far I have come and what I have achieved both outwardly and inside. My life has changed in magical ways over the last 22 months! To anyone out there that is going through a challenging time. Remember...

Today I was able to have a few hours painting, it was magic. It is so nourishing to be painting again. This is the first painting since having Daisy. I thought I would share it with you. It is not yet finished, well I don't think it is...and it hasn't a name yet. It would be great to hear what you see in it/ feel from it and/or what you would name it!

I also have some workshops coming up in Bournemouth, I will be posting these events. As most of you know, I am now living in Surrey, (only 1 1/4 hours by car from Bournemouth). I will be predominantly working up here; offering 1-1's in my studio as well as setting up group workshops in the Guildford/Farnham area, around looking after Daisy. But I will be coming down to Bournemouth to run two workshops on a Sunday; November 27th, March 12th and July 9th. Message me if you are interested, places are limited to 8 people per workshop. I am so looking forward to supporting you on your creative journeys!

Well... Daisy Catherine Richardson was born 5th June 2016 at 3.17am, she is such a poppet! We are all well and very proud of our little one, each other and ourselves!

The day she was born these pictures were taken. We feel so blessed to have her in our life, she is a magical gift. This is now our little family. Love Natasha, Steve and Daisy x

When was the last time you just played, painted or just did something because you wanted to?
Not because it was on your list of things to do or you had to or that it was for some bigger reason/outcome. As adults we can spend so much time doing; planning, organising, working towards getting the end result we want, we can miss the true gift of being present.

Reading and working through the book the Artists Way by Julia Cameron really helped me with this. It is so nourishing and healing to take time out to just be, to create just because, like a child would. Yes, I know there can be lots to get done and it is easy to say 'Well once I have done this I will then take time for me', but I know from experience that often it doesn't happen. If any of this rings true with you, then I say, book out a day, a morning, even a few hours of YOU time to nourish your inner self and heart. Could you set aside time each week for yourself, to be in the moment and do whatever you feel like doing!?
Write it in pen in your diary, make a date with yourself!
You deserve it...You will love it!

A wonderful evening was had by all at Kirsten Hannibals' Painting Party last night. Thank you Kirsten! It was amazing to watch you all exploring and discovering different ways to express with paint. Such transformations!

To come to a workshop that you are drawn too, but where you don't know exactly what is going to happen takes courage. Thank you to all that came. You stepped out of your comfort zone to explore, let go and discover what you can create when you express from your centre, your heart space.:)

I have just facilitated a Creative Collaboration Workshop. It is such a gift to spend quality time with your loved ones, as well as with yourself. That along with trying out a new activity together that is both fun and nourishing... A beautiful way to spend a Sunday morning! Strengthening Your Connection: Creative Collaborative Session.
This is the result of two peoples collaborative creative session. Open and honest communication, really connecting with another is such a gift. In these sessions you are given the space to explore individually and together through the medium of paint, to gain awareness and to deeper your connection with one another and yourself. There are many things that are important to me and have been over the years. Taking some time to look at what I want and check in, 'Is that really what I want?...I pause and wait for a moment and then I realise that it is something else. Writing them down has really helped me to focus on what I want and how I would feel if I had it.
I am just wondering...what, in your life, would you like more of? Or maybe it is something you don't currently have, but is really important to you? As you know I run Creative Painting Workshops, and I am now looking at what more I could offer to support people to create the life they want. It would be great to hear your comments! x
