BHFC was founded in 2023 and play in the Bracknell & District Sunday Football League
Our first arranged friendly will be against Rotherfield United Mens team. A newly formed team in the Thames Valley Premier league. Rotherfield are a decent side with a proud history. They currently bolster multiple teams in every age group including 2 womens teams and have reignited the spark to host Mens football for the first time since 2020, promoting most of their under 18s for their first foray into Mens football. We wish them all the luck for the upcoming season.
We have recruited strongly over the past few weeks and look to test ourselves as we continue our preparations for our new campaign in division 4.
Huge thanks to our sponsors for renewing their partnership alongside us for 24/25 - The Woodcutters - Forest Park.

BBFA trophy:
Hibs vs Hurst FC
Result 0-5
Hibs first competitive match
With drinks breaks in play half way between halves in action today due to the heat. Hibs started well and had the better of the first 20 mins. With little to show between the 2 sides in the opening quarter we paused at 0-0.
We came out against a very strong established Hurst side. A quick counter down our right hand side led to their opener with little our keeper could do about it. Cutting in and finding both posts before trickling in. 1-0 Hurst. Shortly after, we found ourselves 2 down from a penalty that was rightly given after a clear foul. The taker put it right in the top corner. Despite hibs pulling 1 back flagged for offside, we entered half time at 2-0 down.
Half time 0-2
Second half began much like the first with little to choose between the 2 sides. A lapse in concentration and extra men committed to attacking responsibilities we quickly found ourselves 4 goals to the deficit. And at this point we realised it was clearly game over. The boys didnt give up and proceeded to be on the front foot a bit more towards the final 15 minutes. All too late though and Hurst added a 5th.
All in all, a spirited performance against a well established team miles better than us in our first ever game. Onwards and upwards.
First league fixture next week against Dukes reserves at home WILL see us bring home 3 points.
