A busy few days seen the weather as been poor sort our dahlia pot tubers , trimming them and boxing them up. Now on the 10 x 4 Hotbox Heat Mat set at 18c the greenhouse heating is now run off a Chinese Diesel Heater set at 6c

Another dahlia season finished traveled around 1600 miles showing at all 3 National Shows Leven Scotland , RHS Wisley and Harrogate flower show. Also in the photos some seedlings grown from seed. As you may know I am a exhibition grower of dahlias and the show season starts tomorrow here are a few blooms and flowers just showing colour this year I am only growing giant , large decorative dahlias and giant , large cactus dahlias

Fathers Day today so went to a Private Delphinium Garden at Methley. Yorkshire Cottage Delphiniums what a site one of my favourite flowers
