Our team distributed 1000 stationary items to a primary school followed by 600 food parcels, around 800+ hot meals, 400+ children treat bags, cash distribution, opened a new Masjid and supported around 80 mothers with baby food across three villages in Machinga district (Mpunga, Juma and Kamwendo).

With the only Clinic in over a 40km radius, this is truly a lifeline for thousands of villagers, who would normally need to walk for hours to access basic healthcare. Have a look inside an average home inside the rural areas of Malawi 🇲🇼. How blessed we are in the UK and how much accountability we will all have to give on the day of judgment. Weak structures, straw roof and the whole house only around 4 meters in length 😔. During heavy rains or the cold winter nights, the inhabitants will be suffering so much. Through your support we can reach out to these areas and work all year round in Malawi 🇲🇼 to provide assistance to our brothers and sisters.

Day 2 Malawi 🇲🇼 The team set off to Chopi village where they met with the madrassa children, listened to their performances before serving everyone in the village with a hot meal and treat bags for the children and baby food for the new mothers. A total of 150 food parcels were distributed along with blankets, chitenjes and cash zakat. The team then departed to chipamba village where they took a tour of the Ahlyl bayt housing complex which consists of new houses gifted to the villagers and also visited the new clinic and the staff. Medical equipment and items were handed over to the staff which will be used to treating the patients. The team then distributed hot meals, children's treats and more baby food to new mothers before concluding with 100 more food parcels and cash zakat. #malawiapril2024deployment #greencresentaiduk #malawi #Charity #Africa #IslamicCharity
