Hi Everyone, I thought about a while to post it but a reported posting due of some health problems.
🤩 First over all nothing have change in my mind and my job still my passion for decades;)
- 1 The business is running really well and I don’t have to complain it. Just thankful people and customers.
- 2 The business is moving to a bigger place within 1 month.
- 3 A bike mechanic (technically professional) will be on board within next few months.

*Those all news sounds great but for months now I am suffering of Neuralgia Pudendal nerves. Some days I am able to work well others days it’s impossible to move. Sooner a surgery will be planned to sorted it out. Until there again… I want to thank customers for their understanding and patience. Difficult to counter this problem without impacting the delay on repairs. It’s not my way to share personal information but I had to inform my customers. Thank you everyone for your understanding🙏.

Another project on front wheel 4 spokes is coming soon for the same customer. Which one is challenging🤩. Carbon repairer use to don’t work on wheel and it’s understandable but I like to push up myself on crazy projects😉 # training

Another great example of NO-MASHING « CARBON-ALUMINIUM » many dropouts, bottom bracket, aluminium insert have been fixed last year. Aluminium being stiffer than. Carbon Fiber it’s quite difficult to keep a frame over 10 years of intensive use without delaminating. It’s why I recommend to buy a full carbon frame without any aluminium insert. * Easier to work straight on carbon and sometimes cheaper as well.

Throughout these comparison I wanted to show what kind of bottom bracket issue you can meet. I don’t especially want to expose brands and blame them for their job but here are the perfect example of 2 different products that we can find on the market at the same price! In terms of manufacturing brands still making faulty frame years after years.

What to see about 2023? Last year has been a personal CHALLENGE!!! I didn’t want to express things about myself apart from the carbon repair activity and I have been frustrated about that on the last 6months. First surgery done 5 days ago and all good 👍! I mostly travelled to see doctors and did medical tests in France to get sorted my bad physical condition. In sickness condition I always keep a big smile because it help! But people can traduce it by different ways! Especially on social media! I use to visit bike shops during all the year in UK or in EU when the occasion presents itself. ATOM bespoke still frame. Full restoration after over 20years. The bike looks amazing 🤩.
NOT technical job, however the sprayer smashed the same yellow and fork was black as well. full Groupset cleaning and new Campagnolo cables set🤩. My friend Keith got his bike ready for the winter 🚴‍♀️👌

The frame of the NEW” RIDLEY Falcn RS looks strangely similar than a SL7 Specialized🧐 May it be more comfortable with the longer top-tube? What’s your opinion?

Full custom respray done on this SPECIALIZED SL7. Shiny ✨ black and aluminium brushed vinyl🤩 requested and short delay provided. Not as it use to be but we did well within one week!😮.
It’s rare to provide the same service for everyone in terms of price and delay because all enquiries respond to different projects😎.

OLYMPUS thickness gauge ultrasonic arrived this morning. I wanted to complete my set inspection with an additional digital tool. Tools can be efficient but a proper visual, mechanical inspection are important as well to connect cause to fact. The right reflection to understand what’s happened during the crash and not inspection on each centimetres of the frame with a clear idea of what you are looking for! A digital tool can gives a wrong result at some point! It’s my way to inspect the frame😎.

NEW🚴🏻‍♂️ Pinarello X-Serie! Made for comfort🤔. Seen in Bordeaux last month… I am not fan of Pinarello so I want to say «  good finish and for sure is confortable but heavy » 8.9KG with 105DI2!
Balance price/weight is not the best for beginners! Let’s see futur reviews and test🧐.

Visiting LONDON to meet LAKA insurance… things are progressing!🤩 I would say « keep your private life » but to be honest at this century when you have a business your life is your business or the other way around!🤩. At the meantime « Peter Sagan Specialized Venge «  delivered to his owner after huge repair😉.

You can determine on yourself a general cost service on a second hand bike but not if the frame is on sale because crashed or even write off by insurance! Just be carefully about second hand carbon frame. I got few cases this months!

The company still on the market after some prior financial difficulty and challenge! But they still they and kept the original hand made products. Nothing hide. No joints respray. Some carbon Fiber are not straight due the hand made process;). Personally it’s original and I like that. At least it’s not a £100 made in China to be sale £1500 in Europe with disgusting quality!
Similar brand like 3T kept kind of artisanal or genuine process manufacturing. Just keep in mind🚴🏻.

What to say about the new 795RS blade. For sure the frame geometry and shapes are not anymore similar to the previous version! Stiffer and more agressive geometry. Weakness points like BB Shell, wishbone, Stem (integrated cables) have been changed. Let see what this new frame is capable of doing!
