I still can’t believe I was so worried and nervous about setting up this page. I have been debating about it for donkeys but never really had the balls to actually do it 🙈However with the combination of lockdown and being furloughed I found myself baking nearly every other day just from pure enjoyment. I absolutely love baking. I love baking people their favourite classics and watching them enjoy every mouth full (literally, ask my boyfriend) 👀.

I never thought in a million years that I would want to start selling anything I baked as I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy it if it developed into something demanding and repetitive. All I know was I was spending hours on Pinterest looking at small bakery businesses and thinking I’d love to be able to do that one day. I do have a full time job working as a Design Coordinator for Selfridges which I absolutely love so I this needed to be something that worked in a way that suited me and continued to be something I loved doing.

After some thought I woke up one day and thought sod it. Dogs and doughnuts was now a thing. For everyone that knows me knows I’m dog mad, I have two beautiful English bulldogs that I love more than life so that’s how Dogs and Doughnuts got the name (plus who does love a good jam doughnut). This name reflects me to a T.

More importantly, as for my bakes, I absolutely love the classic/ old school bakes, however I do love a creative, intricate and personal bake as well. I’m currently creating menu and price list but this is all still very new so please bare with...
