He was highly touted throughout his career but just never seemed to recover from the Robbie Lawler loss. He went from one of the best strikers in the division to tentative to strike. Went from one of the best takedown artists in the division to mediocre takedowns as his striking set ups didn’t seem to be there anymore. He was always more than capable of finishing though if he could keep you down, but in the majority of his fights after the Lawler fight he just didn’t have as much success as he had before it with his striking or takedowns. The damage really added up.

Even so, this man gave his mind and body to this sport and to all of us since he was a teenager. From Waterboy to Red King, what a ride. I hope he’s having an amazing retirement.

We are currently bouncing from one event to another. Join us this Sunday at Miah Bros MMA Gym inter club even where we have around 50 bouts in k1, MMA and boxing lined up.

Our 5th inter club is approaching, we have Thai food being served all day with a proper Thai manu, we have some great gyms attending with their students. Pass by the gym on the 7th July (Sunday) and see what going on, drop by with family and enjoy some Thai food and watch some great fights. There is a spectator fee on entrance. (Family discounts)
