Strawberry Shortbread Cake 🍰
Three layers of vanilla sponge. Sandwiched with freshly whipped double cream and home made strawberry compote. Sprinkled with homemade all butter shortbread. Screams summer even if the weather doesn't!!

Mini chocolate brownie cakes filled with piped dark chocolate ganache. Topped with a drizzle of dark chocolate and sprinkles. !

Fortune Cookies - almond flavoured cookies containing a hopeful wish for the new year.

Cannoli - Pastry tubes flavoured with Marsala wine and dipped into dark chocolate and hazelnut pieces. Filled with whipped ricotta, mascarpone and dark chocolate chips.

French Fancies…. Lemon Madeira sponge, topped with a thin layer of apricot jam and marzipan. Coated in buttercream with a piped buttercream dome top. All smothered in pink fondant icing and dark chocolate decoration.

Mini Pork Pies - Traditional hot water pastry filled with seasoned pork and bacon.

Dark chocolate fondants flavoured with Chambord.

Mini naan breads filled with ground almonds, coconut and honey.

Crème Brûlée- Vanilla custard pots with a crunchy sugar topping.

Traditional fruit cake that has been liberally fed brandy (and I mean liberally!) for 3 months… covered in marzipan and then white fondant icing. Decorated with hand cut fondant gingerbread men with piped decorations and snowflakes.

Soft spiced hot cross buns glazed with apricot jam.

Ok so they aren’t technically Cornish as they were made in Bristol…. But a traditional recipe made with steak!

Tarte Tatin - caramelised apples on a puff pastry base.

If we are being strictly true this is an “unbirthday” cake. However I am sure nobody at work will mind!

Lebkuchen - a spiced German Christmas cookie complete with snowflake icing

Buttery pastry parcels filled with strawberry jam. Topped with almond flavoured icing and sprinkles.

Soft fluffy pitta breads.

Raspberry Macarons - Did you know they are best eaten a day or two after making to get the chewy texture?

Another trip back to childhood - Butter biscuits topped with lemon royal icing and feathering.

Buttery pastry cases with an egg custard filling and grated nutmeg.

Iced Gems - A bite sized vanilla shortbread topped with piped royal icing. White (vanilla), Pink (raspberry), Yellow (lemon) and Purple (rose). I will spare you the photos of the full tray of 200 😬.
