My first project (19 months) after giving birth 😅
Of course it had to be something for my daughter!
I’m now waiting for some gorgeous transfers and it will be done.
For this table I have used a colour combination I worked with before and loved: Damask by outside and Plum Crazy by inside.
This space has been quiet for a long time and some of you know it is because I had a baby!
Motherhood has been amazing and while I wish I could be a full-time mum, the financial needs are loud and won’t allow it, so I decided to bring my new reality to my tiny business and work for it to grow!
White Cat Creations will now be focused in nurseries and children’s bedrooms, not only saving furniture from landfill, but also providing accessories such as toys, bedding and other decorations.
Little by little you will see this desire reflected here!
This crew is the first to join our shop (no, baby Astrid is not included) and I hope you and your little ones love them as much as we do!
It’s a Cranberry kind of weekend!
Poison Ivy is ready and although I am sure I still need to practice blending a lot, I am quite happy with the result. This MCM corner unit has a new life ahead.
I want to thank Crys’Dawna from for her AMAZING blending tutorial. I think I have watched that video around 20 times 😹
My first Stag ever was sold today! Audrey will stay in Bristol in a lovely home in Clifton!
Next project is already named Poison Ivy! I wonder why 🧐 If you have a guess, comment below!
For this teak corner unit I am going to risk a new technique and I am very excited with what is coming!
Stay tuned!
I cannot believe how quick this one was… actually I do believe, she is a beauty! Adeola was taken yesterday by a lovely couple. I hope they enjoy having her in their home!
Adeola is finally ready to rock in someone’s home! A modern and ethnic new life for this cabinet.
Used my favorite paint in Mustard and gorgeous decoupage paper for a surprise inside!
It’s all about processes. It might be a pain, but in the end it is all worth it!
Next piece in the workshop (AKA my living room) is this IKEA cabinet. First step is to disassemble some of it and then give it a good clean. Let’s get it on 💪🏽
Audrey took longer than usual to get ready as I had just found out that I was (am) pregnant with my 🌈 baby (❤️❤️❤️) and needed to slow down the heavy work, but she is finally here for her debut! This timeless Stag Drawers with mirror got a classic makeover with Algonquin from , and was a little bit distressed for a rustic touch. I hope you like her the same way I do!
That was super fast! Thank you Country Fayre Interiors for my super new Annabell Duke Mineral Paint Brunswick Green. I have a bureau that will be gorgeous with it 💚
Things have been quiet around here, but today Andrew went to his forever home! He will live with a lovely young family and a giant Palm Plant called Phil! How amazing is that?
Next in the queue…
Andrew is ready and looking for a home! This Drinks Cabinet is charming and will be certainly known as a party starter!!
Solid Pine, painted in Fusion Mineral Paint Ash and Mustard. Top coated with H**p Seed Oil.
A big thank you to my friend Rita for the staging props. It is very hard to stage a Drinks Cabinet when you don’t drink 😹
Skyler and Claudine are on their way home! It is always good to have the feeling that your pieces are appreciated 😸

Two Fussy Blokes, the hype is real! I used the semi for the first time today and I am 😮! So light and fast! I don’t want anything else... give me the longest sideboard to paint now 💪🏽💪🏽
Today I said goodbye to Beatrix and I couldn’t be happier. She is on her way to her new home in a 5 year old girl’s bedroom! I am sure she will be much loved 😻
My new piece is a beast! He is in great shape, solid wood. I still don’t have a clear idea of what I am doing with him, so if you have one, of if you would like to have it commissioned, send me a message!

I can finally reveal Ivy, this oak gate leg table with barely twist legs from 1930. She is so far the most challenging piece I have made, but boy, I’m in love!
Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint Bedford.
The top and twist legs were sanded to bare wood, whitewashed and stained with the white Fusion Stain and Finishing Oil I got from Vintage Attic Sevenoaks.
The process of painting can be so full of ups and downs... many times while giving my pieces the first coat of paint, all I want is to throw everything through the window 😹 but so far I have always liked the final results. I hope this is the case with this table that has been in the making for a while already...
And they are ready! Skyler and Claudine ☁️☁️
This super cute pair of bedside cabinets is perfect for a child’s or a teenager room! What do you think?
Painted in Seaside and top coated with H**p Seed Oil.

This guy came in for a cuddle in the middle of a messy painting session and I always make time for him! Also a good excuse to show my face here!
As it is a long weekend and I had the day off from the nursery today, I went to deliver Tristan to a lovely couple in Eastbourne. More than 3 hours each way, but it was amazing to meet them, have a nice chat and to see how much they liked the tables. Eastbourne is beautiful and I really want to go back for a weekend.
I called him TRIstan! The MCM G Plan Quadrille Nest of Tables is so stylish, classic and I had a great time working with him.
Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint Bayberry, Lichen and Bedford, a calm, fresh and neutral combination!
Top coated with H**p Seed Oil.
Thank you Reloved by Jo for the paints!
Message me if you are interested.
The perfect picture doesn’t exis... WAIT!
3 legs done... 5 more to go 😫💪🏽 I wish would send me a sander to test 😂
As I am hand sanding, I can only manage to do one a day and only on my days off, so... this will take a while, but I am sure it will be great!
Morningstar is ready and I cannot believe how beautiful he is! He got this name because stripping him was hell just to find out he is mostly MDF.
I used the beautiful primer from Cornish Milk Mineral Paint I got from Rose55design, so I didn’t have any problems with adhesion.
Painted with Fusion Mineral Paint Mustard and Seaside (k***s only).
I also tried decoupage for the first time and used the gorgeous Colorful Tiles rice paper from Dixie Belle Paint Company.
Love the result and if he is MDF I don’t even remember anymore 😸
Morningstar 😈
First coat of Fusion Mineral Paint Mustard done and he is already beautiful! I have a little surprise for the back!
Btw, his name is Morningstar. If you watched Lucifer or Sabrina, you will know what I mean 🧐😹
Beatrix is, most probably a lady’s writing table and based on her legs, some said she is a Queen Anne’s table, but others see some Nouveau on the mirror and back.
I couldn’t save the leather and veneer, so decided to paint it.
She was hard work, but totally worth it!
Painted with Fusion Mineral Paint Damask, with a touch of Dixie Belle Paint Company Plum Crazy, some golden gilding wax and finished with H**p Oil.
The beautiful new pulls look like they were made for her, from Knobbles and Bobbles Ltd.
I hope you love her as much as I do.
FOUR. LAYERS. OF. PAINT. 😭😭 @ Bristol, United Kingdom
Amelie went to her forever home today! All my finished pieces are gone and this is such a nice feeling. I’m almost done with a larger lady and things are going to be a bit slower as I am going back to my full time job on Thursday. Wish me luck!!
I lost track of time! It was 10:30pm and I was still priming Beatrix! I need to second coat her legs, but that’s work for tomorrow!
Have a great week everyone 😽
That was FAST!!
I am super happy Jamie and Taylor are going to their forever homes! They won’t be together, but they will be loved 😻
Besides keeping the Etsy ad with the units together, I have decided to advertise Jamie Taylor on Facebook separately. Let me know if you are interested!
Meet Jamie Taylor! I loved working on them. The two units can be separated and I am considering doing it and getting legs for the cabinet as well. What do you think?
Painted with Fusion Mineral Paint Damask.
Things have been quiet here as I take my time on the pieces I have at the moment.
On the other hand it was time for Penelope to go to her forever home! The first one I have painted! So much love for this bright lady 🥰
Julian said I should name my babies, so I will from now on!
I am so bad at taking before pictures 🙄... I get so excited and I just keep going! I’m working on these PS System Danish Furniture units and I’m expecting him to be very cool! The two units were attached and they had castor wheels at the bottom. I put them apart and I am considering inverting it and putting feet... we shall see!!
Continuing with my Seaside obsession, I have finished this lovely French style side table and she adds charm to any living room!
When you start upcycling furniture you can’t even imagine all the challenges ahead. I have learned that staging is one of those. My flat is small and I still don’t have photography lights, which makes everything a bit harder... but with a bit of effort and creativity we can get there!
