What not to do!
This is what happens when the previous decorator doesn’t do the job properly.
Ensure your decorator is applying an undercoat to prime the work.
Recent kitchen project before and afters. The client remodelled the space and had a new kitchen fitted. We finished the job with Tikkurila UK paints for a lovely, durable and wipeable finish. The slightly darker shade on the fearure wall at the back of the dining area adds nice depth.
Added some colour to a bit of tired pebble dashing.
Lovely stairs, hallway and landing transformation.
It wasn't easy stripping several layers of paint from the stairs but it was definitely worth it to bring out the character of the wood.
Used Everal Aqua 10 from Tikkurila UK for all the woodwork for a lovely eggshell finish.
Here's some photos of a kitchen we decoratored in a large townhouse in Bath. The walls are actually woodchip, which the owner didn't want taking off, just the 'tatty' parts patched instead. The height of the room allows for darker colour on the ceiling and it really works 🙂
Prepping and papering a bathroom, including skimming the boxing-in. Here's some before and afters.
A challenging wallpapering job. Tricky arches, fiddly coving and some very long drops up the stairs. Painting the mahogany banister white made a huge difference to the light on the stairway.
Re-modelled bathrooms now finished in quality, mould resistant paint, woodwork matching the character of the property.
This room used to be a kitchen, now it's a lovely dining room.
A sightly different little project. After decorating the room themselves, the clients felt the marble fireplace needed a facelift. The mix of white and black, with both matt and gloss finishes, really does the trick.
Bringing tired front door back to life. Love this colour.
Over the summer i put a new coat of paint on the exterior of this beautiful home. The garage was painted to match the new front door with a subtle accent around the window to tie the colour to the main house. Can't wait to paint the interior next year.
Putting a new colour on the outside, matching the railings and utility boxes to the door and the garage. Used a new specialist primer and multi-surface paint from Tikkurila UK for a top quality finish.
This living room and dining room is a lovely space but needed to make the most of the light. I particularly loved working on the beautiful sash windows. The off- white colour scheme does a great job of making the most of the light without being harsh. Can't wait to see the finished look when the carpet is changed. Before and after pics below...
Using different colours on opposing walls makes this hallway, stairs and landing feel so much bigger. Finished off perfectly with a fresh coat of white on all the woodwork and doors.
Recent living room job. Old wallpaper gone, water damage repaired, walls and ceiling given a couple of coats of quality white, new paper on the fireplace wall. Looking so clean and light 😎
Freshened up this kitchen including repaired some badly flaking paint around the door.
