Welcome Dr Sanford Grossman to our team at Oakfield Dental!

Sanford graduated in dentistry from the University of Manchester. He completed Dental Foundation Training in Bedford and then went on to do two years of Dental Core Training in London.

In 2023, Sanford completed his oral surgery specialist training in Torbay, and following his Membership in Oral Surgery examinations, became a GDC registered specialist oral surgeon. Alongside specialist training, he provided oral surgery treatment in practice in South Devon.

Now based in Bristol, Sanford works across both Bristol Dental Hospital and Bristol Dental School as an Associate Specialist and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Oral Surgery. His roles include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students clinical oral surgery and carrying out treatment lists under local anaesthetic, intravenous sedation and general anaesthetic.

Sanford is happy to accept referrals for all aspects of oral surgery including extractions, wisdom teeth removal, coronectomy, cyst removal, soft tissue lump removal including mucocele, exposure and bonding, oroantral fistula repair, oral biopsy, lingual and labial frenectomy and salivary stone removal.
