From a rickety old chair frame to a complete re-construction. This chair had come to us for recovering, but unfortunately needed much TLC before we could make that a reality.
The frame was loose and suffering from wood worm. Because the wood was still in great condition, we were able to break it down and treat with wood worm killer. We were then able to glue up the frame and leave it to set under clamps.
The seat is supported by rubber Pirelli webbing and the fabric chosen is supplied by ROSS FABRICS Pimlico Crush Royal Blue. We used 1” 39/200 grade foam for a firm back covered in a 6oz Dacron.
