We had to strip off this old film before tinting a car yesterday. It had totally faded in the areas exposed to sunlight as it wasn’t UV stable. The dark edge along the top of the drop glass and the details on the film from the quarter glass is the shade the film would have been when it was first installed. Not a good film. At least it didn’t go purple like cheap film used to.
