Patient tutorial- Kirkland Purnell, Gymnast
Read Bristol Gymnast Kirkland's story of THE Medical experience. "Since a child I have always been a keen gymnast, so it was a big blow to me to suffer an injury to my shoulder which meant that I have found it very difficult to train even basic moves. After being referred to Dr Sian Davies Todd of THE Medical, I found that I was very quickly able to build up my training regime. After seven weeks, I was even able to attempt a Tsukahara (the move in the video) and though it’s still a work in progress, it is a move which I haven't even been able to consider attempting since I sustained the injury over a year ago. Though I still have a way to go, I am amazed by the progress that I have made already in such a short space of time."
