I’ve just returned from a weeks cruising around Greece on Celebrity Infinity with my husband, grown up kids and family friends.

I had a few reservations as it is an older ship, however there was absolutely no need.

We had the most wonderful time, Celebrity did not disappoint! the ship has recently had a spruce up and nothing felt tired.

We had a balcony cabin mid ship and it was light and airy and had plenty of storage.

The main thing that stood out for me was the service and the food! Easily the best food I’ve had in a long time whether it was whole sea bass and king prawns in the Buffet restaurant or the spicy Jerk Chicken and yummy cheesecake in the beautiful trellis restaurant. There really is something for everyone. We also loved the Petit Chef experience especially the lobster!

The service also stood out and nothing was too much trouble for any of the crew on board.

Everything was slick, from embarkation day to tenders on to destinations including Mykonos and Santorini.

Entertainment was varied, both day and evening and we loved the fun interaction sing alongs, silent disco and I even got on board with a finish the lyrics competition! The deck party was also lots of fun!

Also to mention the Broadway show, some serious talent on stage!

The only slightly negative thing to
Mention about the entertainment was it was very American focused.

Plenty of choice bar wise, from live music lounge bars to quieter areas.

The classic drinks package met our needs from tequila cocktails to pink Prosecco and recognised beers.

Never a struggle for a sun bed, please of areas for sun and shade and the Rooftop Terrace was great with its outdoor cinema screen ( Hubbie loved the fact he could watch a euros game live!)

I would definitely recommend the ship and the itinerary and we all had a great time 🇬🇷

I’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend in Valencia.

If you are looking for a short break in the sun with plenty to do València is the place.

It really has something for everyone and is really easy to get around.

We bought a 72 hour Valencia pass which you can use on public transport including the slick and efficient metro from the airport to central Valencia and down to the beach and harbour plus free and discounted entry to certain attractions, discounts off shopping and eating out! This really was a brilliant buy!

We stayed in the Melia Plaza which was in the heart of the city and could not have been more well placed for exploring the area.

My favourite place in Valencia was the city of arts and science, a futuristic and beautiful area of the city. We took a Segway tour to explore here and it was really fun and the best way to see it as it’s quite spaced out.

You are spoilt for choice eating and drinking out and 2 highlights were La Diva a beautiful chic restaurant in the city centre that didn’t cost the earth and a La Pepica a 100 year old family run seafood restaurant that did amazing Paella just off the beach.

Valencia is a mix of old and new, with stand out landmarks you can explore to a lively marina and huge golden sand beach where you can stroll along the promenade, drink coffee watching the world go by or get involved in the numerous beach volleyball games taking place.

We finished our weekend off with a sunset catamaran cruise, after having clouds all day the sun appeared for what was one of the best sunsets we ve seen.

I would go back to Valencia in a heart beat it’s a fantastic city destination ☀️
