What an amazing 🤩 start to Sunday.

Found a baby seal 🦭 stranded on the beach 🏖️.

So cute 🥰 So vulnerable So small but luckily chubby & healthy. Only 6 weeks old.

The seal 🦭 rescue 🛟 team arrived and moved him off the beach 🏖️ to a secret 🤐 location away from dog walkers on a quiet 🤫 sandy beach locally.

Did you know seal pups are weaned between 3-4weeks old and have to survive on their own !

Good luck little one.

The Big 👍🏽 Sweet Red Pepper 🫑 Challenge

Let’s get all of Thanet eating sweet red peppers 🫑. They are low in calories, taste sweet, are rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants, making them an excellent addition to a healthy diet.

The winners will receive two metal detectors and the runners up a Pasta Machine.

Kitchen Social needs you to post on our page photographs of you and/or your family eating peppers in an outdoor space around Thanet through the summer or take a photograph of you and/or your family eating 🥣 a homemade pepper 🫑 dish (with the recipe so we can all try)

Kitchen Social has secured a permanent new home 🏡 in Cliftonville.

We will be launching in September 2023 with our Community Delicatessen - After School 🏫 Club - Our small but perfectly formed Cookery School 🏫 etc Full details to follow.

Unfortunately this means our last shopping day at 16 Ethelbert Crescent Cliftonville will be on Thursday, 18 May. So do come one ☝️ and all as we will be clearing all of our stock to make way for our new stock in September. See you at 3-7pm.

However our Mini Markets will remain open through the summer whilst we refurbish the premises.

Roll on Christmas 🎅 Camp 🏕 - perhaps 🤔 a trip to the Natural History Museum in London or simply a surprise.….

We did not just LIKE 👍🏽 today we LOVED 🥰 it

Crazy start with the Thanet Boys Hamish & Haggis - then after breakfast 🥞 our trip to Brogdale Farm, Faversham to learn more about climate change & pick some fruit 🍎 (including favourite cuddly toys 🧸) - play music 🎶 in the orchard etc.

All that fresh air meant lots of sleepyheads 🥱 on the coach home.
