Hi all!!!

WIRED has become really popular with musicians lately which is just GREAT!

On the night we only have approximately 2.5 hours to play with, trying to accommodate all is getting more and more difficult on these busy nights

In order to try and get everybody a slot we want to try and introduce some session guidelines to help musos... .

So here what we are thinking...

1, Stage Time is 15 mins maximum, so plan what you want to do before getting on stage. If you are jamming with others, talk to them and get them prepared and ready to go.

2, Please try to tune up before you get on the stage or you'll just waste your 15 minutes "Stage time."

3, Please don't waste your "Stage Time" teaching a song to other players.. Beforehand, talk to players and explain what you are doing… maybe consider providing a chord sheet.. always tell others the key you want.

4, In between each monthly WIRED! Session why not contact other musos and maybe plan what you are going to do... I know this has been happening... it really helps.

5, Try to bring something different to the party... If you're going to play the same songs each month it gets boring.... try and learn something new (and bring the chords) or maybe even step down this time and give "Stage Time" to others.

6, No American Pie(!) Ha Ha…... you have 15 minutes one song can last 15 minutes if you want... but that's all you’ll be able to get in.

7, It's always nice to have an idea how you are going to end a song... signal to the other players that you are ending... this is basic stagecraft.

Remember you have 15 minutes "Stage Time" so use it wisely... It will help all of us..

WIRED! is open to all and we are lucky to have the venue to play... Venues have to attract punters and sell beer... so we must always be entertaining!

Our New Year’s Day Session was GREAT success... we managed to raise over £565 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association…. Thanks to all who made donations and bought raffle tickets.!!
