Our latest kitchen transformation and more of repair too as the original vinyl wrap had failed so we removed this from the doors and drawers and gave a new sprayed finish which gives these once tired looking cabinets a new look.
A rare sight 😮
A happy chap using a hoover 😀
The final touches of all kitchen resprays are to tidy up and a quick hoover round.
Happy Friday, hope you all have that weekend feeling
Dare to be bold? 👀
Are you stuck between going bold or playing safe? If so, you should have a look at these clients who went bold! Boy, did it pay off! The vibrant colours chosen by these clients have taken their kitchens to the next level! Two-toned kitchens are great at making certain elements of a kitchen a centrepiece while creating stunning statement spaces.
Bancha by Farrow & Ball was combined with Charlottes Locks from Farrow & Ball. The Bancha green is a clean and vivid colour which just can't help but make you smile, it has brightened up a once sombre and serious kitchen into a kitchen that elevates your emotions just by the feeling of aliveness you receive as you walk into this kitchen. What was once a lost island within this kitchen has now become a stunning centrepiece by painting it in Charlottes Locks, the rich tone elevates the life and joy in this kitchen by its mere presence.
Now, if thats not satisfying I don't know what is!
Hague Blue is always one of my favourite colours and I think you can see why! Some of our customers dare to be bold, and it pays off!
Would you dare to be bold?
Are you struggling to choose a colour?
Blues and Greens are always popular choices, but there have been a few more subtle colours this year.
The advantage of more subtle colours is that you're able to bring colour into your kitchen with cooking appliances.
A kitchen sprayer's worst nightmare.
You take delivery of the paint for your latest kitchen but find this when opening the box 😤
Luckily I have a good relationship with my paint supplier and this problem was swiftly dealt with and didn't hold up the amazing kitchen transformation I was due to start.
Our latest kitchen transformation 🤩
Usually, I'll post before and after pictures, this time it's before - intermediate- after pictures.
The original kitchen had flat panel doors and some of the vinyl wrap was delaminating so the client employed a fantastic joiner to make new shacker-style doors and grooved end panels, I was then bought in to spray the new look kitchen.
The final results speak for themselves. They have literally a new kitchen at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
Not only does spraying allow us to offer a very high-level finish in a shorter time period than it would take if you chose to have your kitchen hand-painted, but we also love to spray. Whenever there's a sprayer in my hand, there's always a smile on my face!
Its the little things that make the kitchen transformation even better! Your Kitchen is in good hands, we always check over the kitchen for any wear and tear that has happened over the years and years of use! We want to ensure that your kitchen looks brand new when finished!
If you have been looking at colour trends over the years like we have, I am sure that each year a strong front runner has been deep dark colours like black, dark hues and deep blues such as Railings by Farrow & Ball or Hague Blue also by Farrow & Ball. These dark colours are still trending and I believe will still trend in the years to come. Dark colours are known for creating striking environments and have the ability to captivate your attention making them as popular as ever. More so if you like to contrast, seamlessly pairing dark cabinet colours with lighter flooring, worktop or backsplash creates a complementing space that you are drawn to.
The kitchen is one of the most essential rooms in your home, where you prepare meals for the family and entertain guests.
If your kitchen is outdated, tired-looking and in poor condition, it can negatively impact your quality of life. No one wants to be in a room they're embarrassed about, do they?
One way to quickly and easily update your kitchen is to paint its cabinets. This involves painting or spraying the cabinets with a new colour or finish. Kitchen spraying is highly cost-effective and a great way to update the look of your kitchen.
In addition to improving the appearance of your kitchen, painting has several other benefits. It can protect your cabinets from wear and tear, make them easier to clean and even increase the value of your home!
If you love your job, giving your clients a wonderful kitchen transformation they love goes hand in hand.
There is such a sense of accomplishment when you hand over the kitchen at the end of the week and see the smile on the client’s face. 😊
Preparation is Key 🔑
We believe the preparation allows us to produce such an excellent finish! (blowing our own trumpet here🫣)
By spending extra time double-checking, the time spent sanding will enable us to create a perfect finish you want to touch!
We have found many of our clients requesting two-toned kitchens over the last couple of years and it’s safe to say we love them.
By spraying a lighter colour such as French Grey 113 by Little Greene or Moles Breath by Farrow & Ball on the perimeter kitchen cabinets and using a darker and bolder colour such as Brinjal Farrow & Ball or Hague Blue Farrow & Ball on the kitchen island you can create a stunning and unique space.
This two-tone trend allows the client to have the power to create their dream space by using two different colours that complement each other whilst keeping the space interesting and inviting and fresher for longer.
Happy new week everyone
It's been a while since a blooper, at least one that's been caught on camera 😂 so I thought I'd revisit one, can you spot my mistake? 😂
