Responsibilities of the role include:
* Comprehensively reviewing equipment manufacturers drawings and installing to their requirements.
* Installing electrical equipment to conform to BS7671 - 18th Edition.
* Fault finding on electrical systems.
* Carrying out inspection and test of electrical systems.
* Taking responsibility for the safe use of company vehicles.
* Responsible for achieving own performance targets.
* Working as part of a team.
* Able to work alongside apprentices.

The following would be advantageous but not essential:
* 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
* CSCS/ECS Card

Essential:
* A full clean UK Driving License.
* 2 years electrical experience.

Apprentices are an integral part of our business which we greatly value. Here at JPB Electrical Services, we advocate that apprenticeships equip individuals with knowledge and skills for life! Investing in apprentices has helped us to grow our business, share our expertise and gives us the opportunity, together with the support of Birmingham Electrical Training (BET), to mould and shape our own workforce into the skilled, reliable and competent tradesmen that they are.

Here is a photograph of one of our own Company Director’s James, who started out as an Apprentice Electrician with BET, aged 16 in 2005.

And of Reece, one of our Apprentices, who has been with us for four years now and is due to complete his Apprenticeship later this month.
