To all my regulars I want people to be aware a person has tested positive for Coronavirus at the pub. If you have visited us between 13 and 18 September you will be contacted by a member of Blaenau Gwent Council’s Test Trace and Protect Service.



It is important that everyone follows the rules, wear face coverings in public indoor spaces, maintain social distancing and meet in groups of a maximum of six people from your extended household.

We are closed until further notice and I will let you have regular updates.

We're opening as of Monday 3rd August 12pm +. There will be COVID rules in place.

Indoor & Beer Garden Open

1. Only 1 person in toilet at any one time

2. 2 meters to be kept at all times

3. No standing everyone is to be seated

4. One order point at front of bar, with one person at a time.

5. If we reach capacity, we have to stick to the rules and refuse entry until a table becomes available.

6. No seating at bar.

7. Please use hand sanitiser situated in designated points.

Please respect all staff, and rules and we will all have a good time.

After the PM has made his daily speech about COVID 19 we would like to keep all our customers up to date.

We’d like to reassure all our guests we are following the appropriate expert advice laid out by government on how a business should prepare, react and operate in this current time. This includes continuing to promote excellent hygiene practices across all areas of the pub, as well as following our stringent cleaning measures so we can maintain our high standards of cleanliness.

We are frequently reminding our team members of the expert advice and information provided by the NHS and Public Health England on the Covid – 19 virus. This includes continuing to promote good hygiene across all aspects of daily working practices and for them to be aware of what steps they should take if they believe they’re experiencing any symptoms. Out of respect for our teams and fellow guests, we ask everyone to follow the same advice.

We’d like to thank you all for the support during this time and remind our guests we currently remain open for business as usual, and that we look forward to seeing you all as normal.
