Raw Cut - Mother Nature ….. in the moment
Reflecting on six incredibly different services this week, with an age range from just 14 to 91, has highlighted the universal experience of grief. Despite the contrasts, grief remains the same vile, relentless and beyond cruel. 5 family meetings bringing five more family’s into my life with whom now I travel on their journey, albeit briefly.I'm grateful for the weekend and looking forward to spending time with family and friends. It's been an honor to do what I've done this week, as it is every week. Some moments have been heavier yes, but they’ve emphasized the importance of living in the moment. Enjoy your weekend, stop chasing and appreciate life as it is. Thank you all for your continued support, kindness, and encouraging inbox messages. May the weekend be all you need it to be. 💜
Sometimes, there are no words.
The vile senseless evil act that took place in Southport is unimaginable and beyond heartbreaking. A community in shock, families destroyed and lives forever changed—all because of one person's actions.
How I wish he could feel, even for a moment, the pain those parents of those angels, the family’s and the community are experiencing.
This isn't about anything other than our shared humanity. Seeing the photos of those innocent kids, full of life and joy, only to be taken so cruelly and suddenly, leaves us all asking so many questions and finding no answers that bring any solace in the aftermath of such an horrific event. The grief is immense, and sometimes, there simply are no words. 💜
Wherever they are, let’s hope the skies are bluer, the colours are brighter, and the world is kinder.
Through having fun …. You can help.
Every week in the UK, 125 people take their own lives. 75% of those people will be men, making su***de the biggest killer of men under 50. One person every 90 minutes!
The charity CALM exists to change this by offering life-saving services, provoking national conversation, and bringing people together to reject living miserably.
I recently went to see The Choir of Man in London, an uplifting 90 minute celebration of community and friendship, challenging the conventional notions of toxic masculinity with one of the key messages being the vital importance of men coming together to open up and share their struggles, whilst enjoying a pint and a chat.
This show has even partnered with su***de prevention charity CALM and encourages its audience to seek out human connection. The Choir of Man is a high-energy, fun show by buying a ticket you are supporting and incredible cause. 💜

It’s an ever changing world. What happens to us after we die is no exception 💜
Raw Cut - Imagination and Celebration
Everyone has two eyes but not always the same view. Grief is individual and as unique as your fingerprint. Do not judge yourself using someone else’s grief ruler 💜
The children’s garden at Breakespeare Crematorium - Peter Pan, a waterfall and mushrooms with personalised plaques. Real thought gone into this place of remembrance. 💜
Hope on, what is forecast to be the hottest day of the year, comfort can be drawn by those who grieve 💜
Just like flowers, each with its own unique beauty, people too have their own individuality. A celebrant led service enables that to be celebrated because everyone brings something different to life. 💜

Jinbaoshan is considered the most beautiful cemetery in the world, becoming one of the biggest tourist attractions in Taiwan.💜
Did you know that the British Heart Foundation estimates that 50,000 pacemakers are fitted in the UK every year?
These small devices are transforming the quality of life for individuals with cardiac disorders.
To ensure longevity, these devices are are powered by long-lasting lithium batteries and are usually encased in either stainless steel or titanium.
In fact, the inventor of the pacemaker, Dr Aubrey Leatham, was able to live to 92 years old, having been fitted with one himself a few years before he died.
We're proud to support Pace4Life, a charity dedicated to providing a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of people in lower and middle-income countries. It does this by recycling and donating pacemakers so they can be repurposed in under-developed areas.
If you'd like to learn more about this, feel free to drop us a message or get in touch with your branch manager from the details on our website. Alternatively, visit the Pace4Life website in the comments below!

Unique and different …..💜
For a lifelong Wimbledon fan who sadly had a ticket to attend the Tennis on the day of her funeral 😔 💜💚💜💚 🎾
I often say ‘A Celebration of Life is not about me it’s about the family and their loved one’. Well here”s some more proof in the pudding - reds not my colour - it’s a very very rare Christmas thing. My family this week are asking all to wear a touch of red and as the lady wore red lipstick during her treatment - her power colour - it is hoped many women in the congregation will wear red lipstick …… so I placed my order out of respect and this arrived yesterday. Honoured to be the Celebrant - proud that I care …..because it matters 💜
