Good afternoon my lovelies. A little update from me. Next week will be my last week of doing the twice weekly food deliveries. I have absolutely loved doing this and meeting you all. Going forwards I am going to be catering for small buffets. Traditional old fashioned party food to your personal requirements. I am using this photograph as the flowers are from a very dear lady’s funeral flowers who I had the honour of catering for her wake. This set me off on this direction and I already have several bookings in my diary. I am also returning to my roots with is private care work. I have been unable to stop myself as assisting the elderly, vulnerable and poorly members of our community is where my heart lies. So I thank you for all your support, encouragement and friendship over the past months. If I can help in any capacity going forwards you know where I am 👩🏼‍🍳🧡

Some of you may know that before cooking the meals that I deliver and catering for buffets I was a community carer. In recent weeks I have been asked to help out for a couple of local families whilst their regular carers have they holidays. I hope you can bear with me if the deliveries are not at their usual time in the next couple of weeks but I assure you we will settle back into our usual routine shortly. Thank you for you much appreciated and continued support 🙏🏼

Two lasagnas made today. One gf and one regular. Regular beef curry made. Gf will be made tomorrow. Keeping busy here 🥘

Fish pie day today. One of our all time favourites. I always make enough so we can have it too 🐟

Got my family coming over this morning so I made a quick cake. I didn’t have time last time 🍰

Cheese pie, gf flapjacks and cauliflower cheese. Cauliflower cheese isn’t on the menu but I had lots of cauliflower so if you’d like some let me know 🧀

I have four extra portions of shepherds pie if anyone would like them. £4 per portion. Served with carrots and cauliflower. Delivery today or tomorrow 🥕

On the stove today a lovely rich chilli. I like to cooking it on a low heat for a long time. Also a great idea for an outdoor party. Big pot of chilli, jacket potatoes and bread. Let me know if you fancy that 🥖🥔

Cheese scones and straws looking good today 🧀

Had an idea. It worked. Real strawberries in a cake. Smells amazing. Might have to nibble the offcuts!!! 🍓🍓🍓

Finished the day with salmon fish cakes. All gluten free and served with veggie rice. Time to rest now before deliveries tomorrow 🎀

Something new from The Honeypot Kitchen which is very exciting indeed. I am now catering for small parties at your home or a venue of your choice. The menu is completely bespoke and very reasonably priced. Feel free to ask any questions. So nice now that we can start to have small get togethers. It’s going to be a lovely summer ❤️

Busy, busy, busy today. Millionaires shortbread, cheese scones, sausage rolls, cheese straws, chocolate brownie, mini meat pies plus all the meals!!! Nice simple tea here tonight 🥖🍞🥂

First out gluten free vegetarian pesto traybake with nuts and feta. Gluten free peach and almond cake. Meat pies and cheese scones. Liver and bacon both gf and regular cooking whilst I grab a quick coffee break ☕️

More sausages rolls going out this week and I’m also trialling feta and walnut and cheese and onion vegetarian ones. You will find some in your delivery to taste test for me 🥰

Family sized meal going out tomorrow. Beef and gravy. Roast and mashed potatoes. Carrots, broccoli, cabbage and parsnips. And of course Yorkshire puddings. Desserts coming out tomorrow are Victoria sandwich and rhubarb and apple crumble 🍏
