All Hallows care home is NorseCare's care home situated in the town of Bungay

We were kindly donated a range of harvest festival goodies by Rumburgh Church and their parishioners. Thank you to everyone that donated!
Today we say a fond farewell to Ann who is retiring. Ann has been a catering assistant at All Hallows for 17 years! Thank you Ann for your years of service, you will be greatly missed by staff and residents alike. Good Luck for the future and enjoy!
Who doesn't love pizza! Residents had great fun making pizza's today.
Sadly one of our residents passed away yesterday. Today a close friend of his kindly brought in this vase filled to the brim with sweets for the staff to say thank you for the care that was given during his stay with us. Always in our thoughts 🙏
On Thursday last week the residents and staff were treated to a visit from some members of the Beccles Salvation Army. They played a variety of songs and residents and staff enjoyed singing along.
Today we held a coffee morning for staff, residents and family members as part of our efforts to raise funds for our Amenity fund for residents. The Wellbeing team and staff outdid themselves with cakes and beautiful china cups and teapots! Everyone had a great time.
Over the weekend residents painted some plant pots ready to brighten up the activities room for winter.
Last week residents and carers enjoyed making paper aeroplanes and origami animals. We have some of the origami on display in the home.
Something quite different today, we spotted a bat who looked a bit worse for wear. We quickly looked up what to do, and found the Bat Conservation Trust website which gave us some great advise. We managed to catch the bat and keep him/her in a warm dark place whilst we wait for further assistance. Stay tuned for further updates.

Residents were treated to a musical sing along with the two R's yesterday, Richard and Roger. We sang a range of songs including Wooden Heart by Elvis and Ernie (The Fastest Milkman In The West) 🎼🎤🪕🎶🎵🎶
Over the weekend our wellbeing team and residents made some lovely flower arrangements to go on our dining tables. Don't they look lovely.
Part 2! - Here is the completed pond refurbishment, how much better is this?
A huge thanks goes to everyone that donated, brought cakes to make this happen. A special mention goes to Andrew and Stephen Berry for their hard work in completing the refurb for us and donating their time to help us achieve this great outcome.
Following on from our successful cake sale to fund our pond refurbishment. Part one has been completed and here are the before pictures. We had to empty the pond, replace the lining and give everything a good clean. The fish were temporarily relocated to a small pool whilst the renovations were taking place. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post where we will show you the after pictures.
Karaoke Time at All Hallows! Sweet Caroline is always a crowd favourite.
We are having a Sensory day here at All Hallows today, kicking off proceedings is a buffet lunch. Everything looks very yummy!
Our Beach day continued today with sandcastle building and a paddling pool to dip our toes into and a sand pit to bury our feet in. Lots of fun had by all.
To celebrate the Summer, All Hallows are having a Beach Day today! We had fish and chips served in (food friendly) newspaper. In preparation for today, residents helps make some beach bunting. We even managed to get a 'donkey' on the sand!

Over the weekend our residents enjoyed making elephants from milk bottles and decorating them. Here you can see some of the elephants exploring the grounds.
Today some of our Residents painted rocks, we had a beach theme with a lovely tropical beach background playing on the TV for inspiration. What's your favourite beach?
Today we are celebrating with Norfolk Shortcakes served with jam and whipped cream.
A massive Thank you to everyone who supported our bake sale today. We raised an amazing £236 to help towards to our pond repairs for our residents!

Here are the planned activities for our residents for this week.
Some of our residents require a modified diet, our Business Support Chef has recently trained to be able to provide meals to their requirements that look appetising and 'normal'. Here we have Beef Stew and dumplings with mashed potato, carrots and broccoli along with a chocolate cake with fresh double cream.
We will be holding a bake sale on Friday 21st July 10am-4pm to raise funds for our pond repairs. All welcome, please come along and get some goodies 🧁🥮🍰
