This morning some residents enjoyed drawing portraits of each other and also doing some still life drawings of different objects
We’ve been out and about this morning handing leaflets out for our upcoming events.

We had such an enjoyable day yesterday watching Trooping the Colour and celebrating King Charles
Yesterday we celebrated this beautiful ladies birthday. We enjoyed an afternoon with Andre Rieu in our cinema followed by delicious Birthday cake and refreshments.
We had lots of energetic fun this morning with a game of Basketball 🏀

For the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, we had a special guest, Ivor from the Woodman Inn in Nuthampstead. During World War ll, the inn was a popular haunt for American airmen stationed at the Nuthampstead airbase. Ivor, who has an incredible wealth of knowledge about this period, came to share his insights with us this morning.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed tea and cakes while listening to the D-Day Darlings. The day concluded with a viewing of the BBC documentary “We Were There,” making it a memorable and educational experience for everyone.
Holy Communion this morning with Reverend Kirsty from the Church of St Peter in Buntingford.
Our afternoon of axe throwing started in the garden, however the weather turned so we continued the fun indoors. Great for hand and eye coordination and of course we had a lot of laughs as well.
