It's the end of an era for Global FC .

Something we looked at doing after last season with players retiring and leaving for pastures new.
After looking at absolving both teams into one and stepping back our Reserves team decided to go their own way and we've wished them nothing but good luck and wish them all the best for the future.
They now play as AFC Thornton in the Pendle Charity Sunday League (although they may be taking our place in the Burnley & District Sunday Football League ), if you see them playing, give them some support as there is some good lads there.

Losing too much money during the separation and preseason topped with players struggling due to the cost of living crisis we can no longer function as a club.

It's been a pleasure helping young lads into adult football, developing players, keeping players humble even when dominating opposition teams, keeping tempers down when being dominated and captaining this team through its life winning a league and cup double last season.

From us all here at Global FC, good luck and happy playing.

03/09/2023

Pre season is officially over and ended in a convincing 8-3 victory against Ossy Wolves.

In a game controlled by Global, we dominated in some great passing and finishing. Other than a 5 minute lapse which the Oswaldtwistle team quickly pounced upon, Global dealt with anything they threw at us.

An almost unrecognisable team from last season with players moving on, retirees and commitments. We have recruited some good players who still need to gel fully but today's game showed it's coming together.

We now move onto the league next week.

07/08/2023

With Preseason well underway we've kept up with our tradition of having bad preseasons (³ on the bounce now 😅 ) which hurts more after coming off the back of a league and cup double.

A few close games and a few not so close games.

This weekend saw us play guide villa. A well organised team who were clinical and controlled the game for large parts.

Them coming out 8-3 winners in the end but some promising play and a very dubious offside call to deny Global a 4th when the game were close.

We move onto Sunday where we have a game against padiham utd.

We're still on the lookout for players. If you can commit on Sunday afternoons (usual kick off time is half 1) and fancy getting into/back into adult football, give us a message.

18/07/2023

A few mixed results over the last few weeks as holidays, beatherder and work commitments put a strain on numbers.

A comfortable win against AFC Burnley with Global coming out 8-3 winners.
A dominant game for Global FC where we could afford to miss several chances.

The same couldn't be said for our game against Daneshouse FC .
Low on numbers but take nothing away from Daneshouse. They're a well drilled side who always choose the easy pass and it showed in a dominant display.
A saved 1v1 in the opening minutes kicked Daneshouse into gear. Few other opportunities fell for Global with the opposition keeper in fine form.

2 penalty saves and some top drawer saves from Global keeper Michael Hargreaves kept the score down for our sake.

We turn our attention to this Sunday where we face Hoddlesdon FC. A team we were evenly matched against last season winning one, losing one and the other being forfeited due to lack of numbers for Hoddlesdon.

We are still on the lookout for players who can commit. All positions welcome.

Last night was our long awaited presentation night.
Voting had taken place, the results were in and it was time for the lads to relax and have a laugh.

13 club trophies topped off with some league winners, League cup winner medals and goalkeeper of the league.

And the winners are:

Top goal scorer is Niall Sawley, scoring 24 goals. With a few games forfeited late last season we're very confident he would have broken the 30 mark.

Most man of the matches is Blessing Sunday with 4 man of the matches.

The league's goalkeeper of the league trophy was presented to Michael Hargreaves as he was unable to attend the league presentation.

Players player - who is your player of the season.
Winner is Niall Sawley

Dressing room maverick - who is the must have in the dressing room, whether it's tunes or bants....they're a must have in there.
Winner is Jake Mcnair

Most improved - which player improved the most over the season.
Runner up is Jon Abbott
Winner is Jake Mcnair

The unsung hero - who is always an 8/10 every week, goes under the radar and doesn't catch the headlines but is always dependable and a key to our success.
Winner is Niall McCullough

Mr motivator - the person who's always encouraging everyone on the pitch.
Winner is Martin Parkin

The liability - the person who is guaranteed to give away a penalty/free kick or do a dubious challenge in a dangerous area.
Runner up is Jake Mcnair
Winner is Shazyhb Qaisar

The golden leg - the person with the strongest kick. Whether it's a shot, pass, goal kick or clearance... You wouldn't want to be in the way if they're stepping up to smash it.
Winner is Martin Parkin

Fantasy Fanatic - the winner of the Global FC premier league fantasy league.
The winner is Jon Abbott.

Worst dressed - who's always in questionable clobber? Dresses extravagant or just plain weird.
Winner was team manager Sean Riley who fittingly came in his typical sports (utd top or rugby top) shorts, plastic headband and pony tail.

The highlight of last night has to be Shazyhb Qaisar saying he is quicker in a race than fellow full back Elijah Veevers but lost in a 80-90m race against goalkeeper Michael Hargreaves.

Thank you to Belvedere FC club house for having us.

Pre-season is starting slowly for us at Global FC . With us winning the league and cup there was always going to be a hangover period, especially with a few of the lads coming from teams who had never competed.
All preseason friendlies so far have been against tough opposition to ready us for the prem next season....

AFC Accrington a team that got relegated mid season but fought their way to a cup final, and finished mid table in the league despite playing 4 less games. They'll be ones to look at for the title this season.

AFC Burnley 2010, a team who won it all 2 seasons ago but struggled in the prem. A good side and unbeaten in our league the other season.

Rossendale Athletic FC , a team that was in the prem a few seasons ago before moving leagues, a good passing team who will be within a good shout for silverware in the Pendle league.

That being said, with injuries, holidays and new players it was always going to be tough.

Preseason results are always questionable but A close game and a couple of heavy defeats mean we need to go back to basics in tactics.... Revert back to what won us the league and cup. Help integrate new players and get back to playing football properly.

Results so far have been:
AFC 2010 6-5 Global.
Global 1-6 Rossendale athletic.
Global 2-7 AFC Accy.

We play AFC 2010 again this Sunday.

If you're interested in joining Global, drop us a message.

Pre season is on!!!!
Pitches booked ✅
Friendlies booked...pending..

After the 1st team doing the league and cup double, we'll want to push ourselves in the prem.
Our reserves will be looking at pushing for promotion and hopefully getting a cup after narrowly missing out getting to the final.

We all come back in as 1 club and start preparing for the season ahead. Drills, fitness, bants.... It's what being in a team is all about.

If you're interested in coming down and joining Global, drop us a message and we'll give you the details.

We'll be messaging teams to organise friendlies shortly so if your interested, please let us know.

07/05/2023

After the conclusion of the season.... Some highs and some lows for both teams but overall a brilliant season for the club.
An introduction of a 2nd team, a league and cup win for our 1st team.
We are now on the lookout for players to join next season and also in friendlies.

If you're interested message us and we'll be in touch.

🏆 League winners 🏆

In an end to end game Global came out 4-2 winners against AFC Accrington to clinch the league.

After a slow start goals from top scorer Niall Sawley, defender Andy Wade, winger Shahzyb Qaisar and midfielder Stuart Keighley sealed the 3 points needed to win the title.
Some top saves from keeper Michael Hargreaves and a little luck from the bar stopped the AFC side taking the lead and leveling the game.

Congrats to the lads on a hard fought victory.

16/04/2023

After a great win in the league cup final we played on Easter Sunday to fulfil an urgent fixture in the towneley cup quarter final against last year's champions Craven.
Last time we played Craven was in the leagues infancy last season and we got battered 20-1.
On a weekend when there's not usually a fixture and Already a difficult game, we only had 10 men available due to religious beliefs, family commitments and other commitments. Playing a lot of the 1st half with 9 Craven thought they were in for a field day.
An inspired game by Michael Hargreaves in the sticks kept Global in the game despite their numbers on the pitch.
A saved penalty after the Cravens last man brought down Niall Sawley only to be shown a yellow was a blow for Global who needed some luck to go their way....it just wasn't our day.
2 lobbed goals by Niall Sawley kept Global FC fighting but injuries across the pitch and lack of numbers it was too much to ask for the lads.
Each lad put in a shift, kept each other's chins up and battled for each other.

Final score was Craven 7-2 Global.
Not a bad result considering and a good shift put in by the lads that were available.

We now move to this week's game....
Our final league game....
Win the game and become champions..... Anything less gives it to AFC Burnley Reds.

We play AFC Accrington at Towneley. Half 1 kick off.
The teams have played each other twice this season. AFC coming out 6-3 winners in the build up of the cup and us coming out 3-1 winners in the final.
2 evenly matched teams giving each other a good game of football.

Photos from Global FC's post 02/04/2023

Global FC 3-1 AFC Accrington .
A great victory for Global to lift the league cup.

A game which saw the AFC keeper easily be the oppositions MOTM.
Opportunities galore but the defence and keeper making sure AFC was giving it everything to win the game.
A 1st half goal ruled off side for Global and some last ditch defending on both sides but the score remained 0-0 at half time.

As the 2nd half kicked off, AFC caught us sleeping in the first 5minutes and pounced to slot in and take a lead.
Global didn't let the goal destroy the hard work put in to get to the final.
Up stepped top scorer Niall Sawley with a beauty of a free kick to even the score.
After more chances went begging the AFC midfielder broke free and hit a thunderbolt of a shot which was brilliantly saved by keeper Michael Hargreaves.
The AFC keeper pulling off save after save, their defence blocking shot after shot, it was only a matter of time before Global took the lead and then again pounced on a through ball to seal the win.

A brilliant game, Good sportsmanship and a match ball hit over a building from a free kick from Blessing 😅

Well done lads, a much deserved victory.

⚽ Cup final day ⚽

Global FC Vs AFC Accrington .
Kick off 2pm at Belvedere FC.

The last time we met AFC Accy came out on top 5-4 in a close game just a few week ago.

They will want to repeat that performance but we will want to go better.

Come down and support 2 local teams giving their all.

20/03/2023

Yesterday marked the 1st round of the Towneley cup.

Our reserves took on a strong prem side in Williams Bar FC.

A game which saw a few missing due to mother's day plans but it was always going to be a difficult game.
A 10-0 victory for Williams securing their place in the next round and ending the Reserves competitive season.

The first team was set to play Ossy Wolves but again, they forfeited the game.

The quarters finals have been drawn and Global will face last year's winners Craven FC.

These 2 have only ever faced off once last year when Global was in its infancy. Craven came out very comfortable winners with a 20-1 victory.

Craven will be hoping to get some silverware this season as additions to the leagues and cups have shown craven are not unbeatable.
Global will want to prove themselves and make sure a repeat of last season doesn't happen.

The game is this Sunday, half 1 kick off.
Pitch allocation hasn't been given yet but it will be either Towneley or Prairie.

Derby day did not disappoint.... And it's the first team heading to the final.

Final score:
Global Firsts 8-1 Global Reserves.

It was the reserves who started the better side for the 1st 15minutes pinning the firsts back.
A few long range chances and a few clearances were easily dealt with by the Global defence and keeper.
A quick well played counter attack was pounced upon by striker Niall Sawley to calmly slot home and give the first team a lead against the run of play.
It was then the flood gates opened with Global grabbing another 2 shortly after.
A punt up field which wasn't cleared was grabbed by the Reserves winger Jayden Mackenzie as he was fouled in the area giving the reserves a lifeline.
The penalty was smashed away by striker Corey Pollitt..... Game on.....
Or maybe not as 2 minutes later Niall Sawley ran through and slotted away killing any momentum.

As the 2nd half progressed Global carried on the way they finished making sure the Reserves didn't get a moment of peace on the ball (the firsts have been hurt under estimating them before).
6 goals for MOTM Niall Sawley and a brace for Jordan Henderson gave the first team a comfortable 8-1 victory securing a place in the final.

Both teams move on and this week is the start of the Towneley cup.
Global Vs Ossy Wolves.
Global Reserves Vs Williams Bar FC

Global play an Ossy Wolves side they've faced 3 times this season winning all 3 games 10-2, 11-2 and a 3-0 forfeit.

Global Reserves face Prem side Williams bar in what is likely to be a tough fixture.

No venues given yet but will be either towneley or prairie. Half 1 kick offs.

The final between Global and AFC Accy has been given a date of 2nd April. A venue all but confirmed as the league chairman finalises the details.
I will update once it is all confirmed.

21/02/2023

With Ossy Wolves forfeiting their league cup game against Global firsts, there's a newly updated league cup table.....
Winner takes all on derby day.

Global Firsts Vs Global Reserves.

Photos from Global FC's post 20/02/2023

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, been preparing for our little boy who's due next month.

29th Jan saw our firsts comfortably beat Ossy Wolves 11-2 and our Reserves narrowly lose 1-0 to Hoddlesdon.

5th Feb was set to be Global Vs Global Reserves.
The ref being a no show... something he's done in the past and has now been removed from reffing in this league. Although, The first team absolutely lucked out with him not showing having a few last minute drop outs meaning they only had 10.
The pitch was booked so after waiting almost an hour from the start of the pitch booking a shortened friendly was played. The game started and first team manager Sean Riley pulled his calf within the first 5mins.
9 v 11.... In good sportsmanship, we were offered players to even up the numbers but it was declined to let the game pan out as it would have if the ref had showed up.
4 goals in quick succession before an extra man turned up making it 10v11 again. Hard fought out game being called at 6-3 to the reserves.

12th Feb saw Global beat AFC Burnley Reds 2 goals to nil in the league cup and put pressure on other teams to make the final.
Our Reserves faced an Ossy Wolves side which looked almost a complete new side to the team they've faced in the past. It turned out true as Ossy came out 5-1 winners.

19th Feb saw Global narrowly losing to AFC Accy 5-4. In a game the pitch played a massive part in hindering both teams playing in the middle of the park, it was the Accy side who changed things up and managed to get the victory securing their spot in the final. Some questionable time keeping but it was a good end to end game.
Our Reserves met AFC Burnley Reds in a 3-3 draw that saw the AFC side come back from 3-1 down to steal a draw.

This week's fixture is the rearranged Global Vs Global Reserves in the league cup.
Reliable ref allocated ✅
Both teams trying to secure the remaining spot in the final ✅
Can the Reserves repeat their performance?
Will the firsts make sure they don't get complacent?

Get yourselves down to Towneley this Sunday, half 1 kick off to watch 2 teams fight it out not only for bragging rights within the club but for a place in the league cup final. To top it off, they're the best 2 kits in the league as well 💜💚.

02/02/2023

Football is back ⚽⚽.

Finally a weekend where both teams managed to get a game played.

Global FC 11-2 Oswaldtwistle Wolves.

Our firsts played their 1st game since November against a strengthened Oswaldtwistle Wolves.

Global started quickly, something we’ve struggled with this season and took an early lead, and we dominated the game which never put the result in doubt.

The Ossy Keeper playing a blinder saving a penalty and the follow up, multiple saves keeping the result respectable and keeping Ossy in the game but there’s only so much one man can do against an onslaught of attacks. Michael Hargreaves comfortably dealing with anything Ossy threw at him until a good save deflected off our own player and fell to the feet of the Ossy forward for an easy tap in. completely against the run of play but sometimes the bounce falls for the opposition.

A 1st half hattrick for Niall Sawley and goals from Skipper Martin Parkin, Elijah Veevers and Nick Telford gave Global a comfortable 6-1 lead going into half time.

The 2nd half started as dominant as the 1st for Global with us getting another goal early on. The Ossy keeper pulling off save after save and Global being wasteful stopped it becoming embarrassing for the opposition. With the wind picking up and in favour of Ossy Wolves, they started shooting from distance in frustration as the Global midfield and defence bettered them on every attack. Finally one was hit strong enough and skidded of the keepers’ gloves to sneak in the corner. The Ossy central midfielder and winger being the standout players for the wolves were marshalled by and chased down all game by Nick Telford nulling their threats for most of the game.

Goals from Jordan Henderson, another for Nick Telford, 2 more for Niall Sawley and a long-range goal from MOTM Blessing Sunday completed the victory giving Global 3 points.

Hoddlesdon FC 1-0 Global Reserves.

A game that’s kick off was slightly delayed helping the drainage of the pitch turned into a tightly contested game with only 1 goal separating the sides.

A game where both defences shone.

The first half didn’t have much going with each team being tight at the back and the midfields cancelling each other out.

Hoddlesdon had a player through, but he lost his footing, subsequently it was easily dealt with. At half time, it’s still all square.

The 2nd half kicks off and a few good saves from the reserves keeper Alex Bolt kept the game even but was eventually undone by a Hoddlesdon counterattack which saw them fire into the bottom corner.

The Reserves respond quickly with only a last-ditch block denying them the equaliser, shouts of a hand ball but the ref says otherwise – a dubious decision but the refs call is final.

A freekick saved by Alex Bolt is pounced on by the Hoddlesdon defender but luckily for the Reserves, he misses. Still all to play for.

Both teams pushing for the result with both defences and keepers doing their best for their respective teams.

Last play of the game and the Reserves forward bursts through and goes to ground after feeling contact, surely a penalty to rescue a point.... according to the ref its not! The player has gone down too easily, and he blows his whistle for full time.

It just didn’t seem like our Reserves day for key decisions but that’s how it falls sometimes. It doesn’t hurt any less, if anything it hurts a little more as you feel robbed of a potential result.

We move onto this weekend’s fixtures and……its Derby day in the league cup.

Global vs Global Reserves at Fishermore 3g, 14:45 kick off.

Can our Firsts keep marching on and move above the reserves in the league cup or will our reserves push to try claim 1st place?

Come down and see a great game.

24/01/2023

After cancellations galore due to the rain, snow and a Christmas/new year break Global are back in action ⚽⚽.

The Last time Global Firsts played was against Global Reserves on a very boggy Blacksnape pitch back in November. Global came out 2-0 winners with a dubious offside call to deny Global taking the lead within the 1st few minutes which was matched with a dubious goal for Global late on due to the pitch.

The last time our Reserves played was a couple of weeks ago where AFC Accrington came out 7-1 winners on muddy Towneley Park pitch.

Our reserves will be hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend as they face a strong Hoddlesdon FC side.

Last time out, our Reserves came out as narrow 3-2 winners, can they repeat that performance or will Hoddlesdon get a result?

Our Firsts will be hoping they can pick up where they left against a strengthened Oswaldtwistle Wolves side who have been getting close to picking up their 1st points of the season.

Last time out Global came through as 10-2 winners but Ossy were the better side for the 1st 20mins, leading through a penalty and freekick. Can Ossy repeat the feat but keep hold of the lead or will Global make sure they are sharp from the start?

Hoddlesdon FC vs Global Reserves at Poppy Mai’s ground on Fishmoor Drive, BB2 3UY, kick off is 13:30.
Refreshments and food are available to purchase from the onsite bistro.

Global vs Oswaldtwistle Wolves at Fishermore High School 3G, Gibfield Road, BB8 8JT, kick off is 14:45.

Get yourselves down to either game if you can and catch a good game of football.

09/01/2023

Football returned and Global Reserves were back in action against AFC Accrington .

AFC Accrington coming out the better side in a very boggy contest scoring 5 in the 1st half with Tyler Cardwell getting a consolation for the Reserves.
AFC Accrington scored another 2 in the 2nd half to finish the game off in what was a very wet and boggy game.
Full time score:
Global Reserves 1-7 AFC Accrington.

Global FC Vs Oswaldtwistle Wolves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

We move forward to this Sunday where it's our 1st team who line up against AFC Accrington at the Prairie whilst our Reserves take on AFC Burnley Reds at Towneley.

Derby Day at Global FC .
The game has moved to Blacksnape playing fields due to Towneley being unplayable.

27/11/2022

Last Sunday's game against AFC Burnley Reds was a terrific game where both teams pushed but Global came through resounding winners.
A hatrick for MOTM Jordan Henderson and one each for Stuart K, Niall S and Nick T was too much for AFC and gave Global revenge for earlier in the season.
A yellow card for Global conceding a penalty and a flurry of yellow cards with a red late on for AFC proved it was a match with a lot on the line.

After that brilliant win last week against AFC Burnley Reds, coming out 6-3 victors on a very cold, muddy and wet day. We turn to tomorrow's game against Global Reserves.....
Derby Day within the club.
The Reserves hoping to show the firsts just how good they are, the firsts hoping to keep their momentum and winning ways going.
The reserves saw a 3-0 lead slip against 10 men in the last fixture between these two.
Can the Reserves learn from their mistakes and put them to the sword?
Can the Firsts learn from their mistakes and not have a mountain to climb?.... Can they play the 1st half with 11 men 😅.

Bragging rights are on offer here.

The game has moved from the prairie to Towneley. Kick off is half 1.
Battle of Global FC , battle of definitely the best 2 kits in the league.

Get yourself down and cheer on your friends, loved ones and team mates.

17/11/2022

Apologies, Its been a while since the last post, we've been knee deep in smoothing internal processes out trying to make it easier and smoother for all within Global FC.

In the last round of fixtures our firsts played Hoddlesdon FC. Last time out Hoddlesdon was strong out the gates but Global came away 4-2 victors.....
This time out Hoddlesdon came away victorious winning the game 3-2 with the last kick of the game.
Global left the pitch having squandered chances and the Hoddlesdon keeper being on fine form.
Scorers being MOTM Niall Sawley and Ben Lee.

Our reserves took on AFC Accrington, a team new to our league after being relegated mid season.
In a very tightly contested game, the points were shared in a 1-1 draw.
Goal scorer was Harry Waterworth and MOTM Jayden Mckenzie.

Last week there was no game due to the east lancs derby where Lancashire turned Claret and Blue.

We turn our heads to this weekend where our Firsts face top of the league in an unbeaten AFC Burnley Reds side. A close game last time out with Reds winning 2-1.
The game is a half 1 kick off at Prairie sports village grass pitches.
Get yourselves down and let's cheer Global back to winning ways after 2 defeats on the bounce.

Our Reserves don't have a game this weekend.

01/11/2022

Well it was certainly a wet one.
Our First's game was postponed due to standing water on the pitch after quite the downpour whilst both teams were getting changed.

Luckily the Prairie was playable and our Reserves faced AFC Burnley Reds. Last time out it was a hard fought draw but this time AFC came out the winning side.
AFC taking a narrow 2-1 lead at half time pushed the game into their favour.
2 Goals from Reserves top scorer Corey Pollitt and a 1st goal for Tyler Cardwell unfortunately wasn't enough to win the game.
AFC Burnley Reds coming out 6-3 winners.

MOTM Jayden Mackenzie.

This week's fixtures are

Global Firsts FC Vs Hoddlesdon FC at Poppy Mai.
Last time out it was a close 4-2 game with Hoddlesdon grabbing early goals before Global managed to take hold of the game. They'll be hoping to grab a win this time.

Global Reserves Vs AFC Accrington at Prairie.
AFC Accrington formerly known as AFC Unity play their 1st league game under their new name since dropping down from the 1st Division. AFC Accrington will be hoping to get off the mark with a win whilst the Reserves will be looking at getting back to winning ways.

Global FC are kindly sponsored by Bare Bar natural soap, Reptile WonderLand and DJP boots.

None of what we do would be possible without the help of our sponsors.

30/10/2022

After a brilliant win the The Reserves last week against Hoddlesdon. They now face an in form AFC Burnley Reds team at the Prairie.
Last time out, these 2 shared the points in their 1st games of the season.
Since then, both teams seemed to have recruited to strengthen but the Reserves still have their core players.
This should be an interesting clash.

Our Firsts face an Ossy Wolves side still looking for their 1st win.
Last time, Ossy pushed early on to grab 2 early goals from a sleeping Global. It took Global a while to settle into the game and then the goals poured in. With Global comfortably in the lead by half time.
The game is at Poppy Mai with a half 1 kick off.

Photos from Global FC's post 12/10/2022

Global FC 6-3 Global Reserves.

An action packed game with the reserves showing just what they're capable of.

As both teams were warming up getting ready for kick off it was clear the first team were having some issues.
With a few players away and a few drop outs on the day, it quickly came to light that the first team had 10 players....including manager Sean Riley kitting up.
Global knew they'd have an 11th man for the 2nd half as a player had work commitments.

The game kicked off and the reserves were quick out of the blocks putting pressure on the 10 man team. With a strong wind behind them, firsts keeper Michael Hargreaves making save after save couldn't do much when Max Abbott got the reserves the lead with a well taken goal from the edge of the area. Shortly after the firsts were caught in possession and the reserves midfielder found Corey Pollitt who turned in the box and slotted home giving the reserves a 2 goal lead.
The firsts started finding their feet and had a couple of chances but the extra number and the wind proved too much again as Max Abbott made it a brace for himself and 3 for the reserves with a well taken 1st time strike from the edge of the box.
Other than a couple of half chances the last 10 minutes of the 1st half was all for the firsts with Niall Sawley grabbing a goal.

As the 2nd half kicked off the firsts picked up from where they left off having a couple of chances which were hit straight at the reserves keeper.
FINALLY..... The firsts 11th man arrived.
Suddenly the gap that the reserves kept exploiting was suddenly plugged.
Striker Jordan Henderson wringgling through 4 players before slotting home made it game on.
Striker Niall Sawley saw an effort saved and took the resulting corner finding the head of midfielder Ben Lee for the equaliser.
Midfielder Blessing Sunday skipped past the reserve midfield to smash home the first teams 4th goal and the lead.
Reserves forward Jayden Mackenzie found himself some space and forced a good save from the firsts keeper.
Shortly after Corey Pollitt hitting the woodwork with the keeper quickly diving onto the ball showing the reserves weren't going down without a fight.
The resulting kick made its way through to the running Niall Sawley who calmly slotted his 2nd and the firsts 5th.
The firsts were well and truly controling the game now that the reserves couldn't expolit the room left when the firsts only had 10 men.
The reserves bringing down a player in the box resulting in a penalty.
Up stepped club captain Martin Parkin smashing the ball into the top corner securing 3 points and their 6th goal.

Overall a brilliant game with highs and lows of both teams.
Both sets of players could hold their heads up high with every player giving 100%.
The reserves showing just what they're capable of with the firsts showing just why they're in the 1st team.
