Exiting 2023 at pace.. what a year! Starting off 2023 Dad and I were building the new workshop, and continuing to build around this years racing programme has been tough! (Thanks !) This year has seen some fantastic milestones with the legend taking his original BTCC RS500 on circuit being one. also starring the year with a comprehensive race schedule. Ticking off hockenheim, The Nurburgring, Oulton Park and Brands hatch to name a few.. coming home with podium finishes, outright wins, lap records and 45s gaps to P2 could have only been achieved with the people involved. Continuously and enthusiastically supporting us throughout the year, people such as , piero Di capite, , , , , , .diederen, , .pauljesty, .reed, , have made all of this possible, and we feel privileged to have completed this year with such success👌🏼
#2024 brings new challenges, including another season of racing with and the Netcom RS500. also feels like joining in, so BBR001 is currently undergoing an extensive rebuild, keeping it museum piece original, but bringing everything up to current FIA standard. (Even the fuel!) The Rouse RS500 AR05-89 has also joined the ranks this year, and we are right in the midst of its full restoration to find its way to the front of the grid. maybe a few more rouse cars to add to the tally… we shall see
We have been supporting many group A touring cars behind the scenes in the UK and Europe with race support, supplying or manufacturing components or just pure enthusiasm. Long may this continue in 2024!
had a great year in his mk3 es**rt RS1600i, and with the RS turbo project planning to continue and a possible addition to the fleet, 2024 is looking fast for Anton💪🏼
I can’t wait to see what unfolds in 2024, and more importantly.. how much fun can we have!?

AR05-89 finally firmly bolted down to the jig table and ready for body restoration and rebuild! On the other side of the workshop, is Dave Brodies BBR001 under full mechanical strip down and restoration; with all the suspension and running gear now removed from the car. It’s all go!

The good, bad and the ugly..! AR05 has returned from .co.uk, which has revealed all of its battle scars and war wounds from its many years in the JTCC. The repair work and ingenuity of the mechanics in period is a sight to behold! Good and bad alike.. there is no point removing and replacing panels at the slightest sight of damage at this stage, as they contain all of the cars history and character. So this means we must undertake the painstaking, hour engulfing job of repairing, restoring and keeping all of this cars heritage alive. This is going to be tricky, I can’t wait!
A throwback to The Gold cup at Oulton park! a controlling win of a hard and fast paced 1hr sprint race. Flat out driving from and saw a gap of 45 seconds to P2, an outstanding drive, flawless performance from the most dominating rs500 on the grid and a race to remember!

Hours of work have gone into painstakingly uncovering, tracing and mapping the original trampio livery that this rouse rs500 once wore.. what we thought was a straight line livery turned into all compound curves and something rather complex! It shall be a work of art once completed back in its original war paint.. well done dad!

Project 2 for this winter also now underway, Dave Brodies BBR001 for a sympathetic mechanical rebuild and complete wiring loom / fuel system and engine upgrade. Stage 1 complete with removal of all relevant components
Project 1 underway for the winter, andy rouse engineering AR05-89 being stripped ready for paint documenting, matching and preparation for blasting. She’s a battered old warrior from a hard career in the JTCC, Macau GP and various other Asian rounds but she will absolutely live to fight another day !

Silverstone classic 2023 - highs and lows of motorsport! Qualifying went well, P1 with a 2:09.7. A fantastic time by Michael Lyons followed closely by Paul James Mensley
the race was well timed with a monsoon that effected only half of the circuit! Unfortunately all efforts were in vein, as during Michael’s stint climbing the field after the pitstop, a terminal to the alternator snapped, blowing out the flaming exhaust and leaving the old girl sat at the side of the circuit. The car too. a real shame, but that’s motorsport.
As always, on to the next! Silverstone TT, for the years finale…. Bring it on💪🏼
Sunday at the Old Timer Grand Prix, Win it or Bin it being very relevant! Running in P2 behind the MK Motorsport bmw CSL 24v, Paul James Mensley made a late lunge into the final chicane for 1st, unfortunately being pushed wide and the MK Motorsport e36 super touring works car sneaking up the inside. 2x P3 overall, P1 in class and a fastest lap, suits us down to the ground. Another great weekend, thanks to Martin Battye for data support, Piero Di Capitefor the engine work and many, many more people behind the scenes.. that wrapping up our European tour. Oulton Park Gold cup 2023, overall a brilliant result where it all came together. and absolutely nailing their stints, with Paul driving a blinder of a first half. Holding position with a start to finish P1, fastest lap before pitstop and consistent.. can’t beat that! A great atmosphere and some great racing! We went racing, and it was fun💪🏼 fantastic weekend out at the brands hatch super touring power weekend with the . Paul James Mensley managed x3 staggering P1’s and a P3 (misfire) in the netcom RS500, and James Brodie flew in the demo laps with the original BBR RS500. Proud, pleased and impressed with everyone today. Top effort all.
The Italian national group N touring car polished up beyond expectations, and with fresh running gear it’s ready for some track time!
AR05-89 strip down has commenced, with some very interesting things to note. However this is the best detail, with the car almost knowing it’s time has come. Fuel cell manufacturer date 19/5/89… 34 years to the day we started work.. welcome back

Hockenheim classic, what a weekend! This one really was about racing with a bunch of mates. With a bit of Sunoco thrown in. Race 1 resulted in P2 from starting in P11, a brilliant climb to the front considering Paul James Mensley hadn’t seen the circuit before.. but more importantly, supported by some great mates. Roy Diederen came out for a the ultimate race weekend experience, thanks for your help mate. Martin Battye and Jemma Carter also for a race weekend holiday and overrev hunting 😂 plus the legend that is Dave Brodie and James Brodie stopped by on their European circuit tour, and James Wright & I on the spanners. honorary member of Sam Crn making sure everyone only heard half a song. And Piero Di Capite for the weapon under the bonnet. What a weekend. That is what racing is about👌🏼 thank you all, and on to the next

At silverstone for the BRDC track day, DB jumps back in his 1988-1990 group A BTCC RS500 and bungs it around. An amazing, Historic day. These cars are not for the Faint hearted so respect very much due! The only group A Sierra Rs500 built, raced and still owned by the original driver. Thanks to James Brodie and everyone involved.
That’s AR05-89 landed after it’s long trip back home from NZ! Amazingly original, with pretty much all of the rouse parts still present and in good condition. A true time warp. 2 seasons of JTCC and club racing has been kind to it!
