Another unvented cylinder replaced✔️

we got a call with water coming through the ceiling, attended and found pin hole on bottom of the hot water cylinder. Customer wanted a more high pressure system replaced so opted for an unvented system. the floor was also replaced as the old tank had perished the flooring.

Our customer was complaining about low water pressure and high electric bills. So we converted from a vented hot water system to an unvented water system meaning the hot water is as high pressure as the cold water pressure at your kitchen tap! This house only had one shower and 2 hot taps so the old tank was far to big to keep heating.

All carried out in one day.

Had a call regarding a leak and pipework that needs to be lagged due to bursting in the cold spell.

Popped back once we got approval for further works and replaced section of leaking pipework as well as lagged the entire warehouse to save future problems at this well known car garage.

Approximately 30m of pitch fibre drainage replaced due to it collapsing. Unfortunately pitch fibre only has a life expectancy of around 40 years and was used in houses around the 1940s when other materials were in short supply. Pitch fibre doesn’t only just collapse it also blisters over time due to hot water and external pressures. You can see in the last photo just how bad it is. Think you might have pitch fibre? Sometimes the simple things matter. New radiator replaced ready for the cold winter.

Our customer had been let down by a previous plumber and had no hot water as the tank was drained ready for plumbing. We popped by and got all the plumbing and the new shower in, with the hot water back on. All done within a long afternoon 😅

Replaced the indirect hot water cylinder due to huge split on the tank. As an emergency company we managed to arrive in the morning and have the new tank in by the afternoon.

We’ve been very busy recently, including installing a pump station. Our customer had back fall on a drain running underneath an extension of the house and with no other way round it we had to fit a pump station. All done within 3 days ready for the block pavers to relay slabs and cut them round the new man hole.

Another split cylinder 😬 we had a call at 11pm with a very worried customer saying her floor was flooded with warm water. We sent one of our engineers to find the leak and isolate it until the morning. We then returned the morning after with a new hot water cylinder to replace the old leaking cylinder. While replacing an indirect hot water cylinder we always make sure to take the F&E tank down and give it a good clean to prolong the life of the system. Another happy and warm customer ✅ being an emergency company we can get things started in as little as 30 minutes.

Customer wanted a dishwasher fitted from scratch as many other plumbers said this was not possible without excessive works. We had it done in just over an hour🤷‍♂️. Interested in having a new washing machine or dishwasher fitted? We will be sure to provide you with a free quote.

Working at the local pure gym today, and not for a spin class!🥵 unfortunately they were completely blocked up and after incorrect drainage reports from other big franchises, we managed to locate the hidden manhole and unblock. All floor lifted, drain unblocked and all laid back down like we were never there. Job done.

We’ve been posting mainly drainage but don’t forget we’re also fully qualified plumbers ready to take anything on. This customer had a few different leak locations on his hot water cylinder so the best option was to completely replace.
