Over the years, like many of our Bluebird Care Assistants, Carl had developed close bonds with the people he cares for 🫶 He provides care for Margaret, who was once the talk of the town when her neighbour found a military shell in her garage! 💣 Thankfully, all was well! 😮‍💨 One of Carl’s proudest moments with Bluebird Care was when he provided care for Tommy, who sadly lived with muscular dystrophy 😪 Although Tommy’s condition deteriorated over time, his mind did not. Carl always made sure that Tommy was in charge and made sure that the days were fun. He and Tommy spent many sleepless nights talking and setting the world to rights. They always ended the day with a hug as Tommy thanked Carl 🤗 Tommy sadly passed away back in November 2021, at just 21 years old. To Carl, being a dedicated Care Assistant is all about putting his customers first.
