Next meeting for Buxton Death Cafe will be Thur 5th May 10:30am at the Buxton Methodist Church (main hall) as part of the Dying Matters week.
The next meeting for the Buxton Death Cafe will be online on Zoom - Friday 18th Feb at 12pm.
With what's happening with Coronavirus, there won't be a Buxton Death Cafe in March.
Lovely start to the Death cafe meeting today. Thanks to those who came for sharing your experience, wisdom and insights.
Next meeting will be Monday 30th March at 2:30pm, if you are attending bring along a piece of poem about death/dying that moves you.
Finally after all these years I've managed to get time to organise time to start a Death Cafe. I know a few were ran by Jan last year. Hopefully I can keep one ongoing for Buxton. :-)

Meetup with be every last Monday of the month 2:30pm - 3:30pm. It is at The Tradesman Cafe, 13 Scarsdale Place, Buxton, SK17 6EF.
All are welcome to this lively and friendly forum to talk about everything and anything about death. This is a subject that is often taboo in our culture.
ABOUT DEATH CAFE: Death Cafe is an international organization with facilitated discussions on death and dying and any and all issues surrounding death and dying. The aim of out Death Cafe, like that of all others, is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. All points of view are welcome at the community forum for sharing and listening.
