Super sorry for delays, absence, silence and for simply going MIA.

With life getting in the way recently and some personal issues, I have had to make the gutting decision to put business on hold. It isn’t a decision that has come lightly, and the emotions that come with making this decision have been difficult to manage. Unfortunately, I have got to put family first and take a step back and reassess my priorities in life.

There are a few orders still outstanding, but majority of these will be shipped out next week. I can only apologise for the delay. My messages had been playing up and they’re now slightly out of control so if anyone has any queries please do email me at [email protected] and I will get back to you within 3 days. Please note Instagram DM’s are no longer monitored.

I want to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for every single persons support. My sensational team of brand reps you are the most amazing team of mamas I have ever had on board, and a special shout out to you guys for your ongoing support and love through this challenging year!

There is very likely to be one final market night at the end of august to shift any remaining stock/ fabric, so do keep your eyes peeled for that.

Aside from the beach being very relevant this summer, the reason for going for this theme with this collection is because of little G’s absolute love for the beach. I know we are going spend many days this summer at the beach and she is likely to have every outfit in every print because I cannot pick a favourite!

Where have you gone?

We dropped off the face of the Earth for a few days and what a couple of weeks it’s been.

In summary- overwhelm. Overwhelm in a number of ways. Isn’t it bizarre that not showing up on social media for 5 days leads to such panic.

So what’s going on?
⏺ preparing for the summer drop: print designs, fabric order, model call, branding shoot prep, garment design, content planning.
⏺ planning and prepping of in person events, stall design, stock creation.
⏺ a broken machine, requiring some special attention.
⏺ lost parcels, postage delays- the biggest headache.
⏺ working 4 days a week in another job and juggling being a mum, partner and running a household. All whilst trying to maintain some sort of life with friends (work/ life balance and all that)

But I unplugged, focussed on some of the above instead of all of it, and now I feel ready to go again. The one pain remaining being issues with me DM’s- but we will get there!

This quote really resonated with me this weekend. ‘Unplugging’ is so important sometimes. What do you do to reduce overwhelm? I’d love to know!

As if it’s Easter. We’ve blinked, and we are now well and truly into 2022.

However the sun is going to be shining, we are taking it OFF, and the whole weekend is filled with plans with friends and loved ones!

Now I’m not usually a huge lover of chocolate, but there is just something about Easter egg chocolate, out of the fridge that is just epic with a cup of tea right? Our girls end up with an INSANE amount of chocolate every year, and apparently I’m ‘too old’ for an egg now. It’s times like this I’m glad we have 3 kiddies in the house 👀🤎

It’s the start of the Easter holidays for us, and I’m exhausted before we have even started!

It’s made me think about life pre-children. Something I most certainly took for granted before I had G was the luxury of being able to stay in bed until I could be bothered to get up. To shut my eyes on the sofa, just because. That lack of responsibility!

I certainly wouldn’t change it for the world, but it certainly explains the dark circles which now reside under my eyes - permanently!

And it’s gone….
The weekend, just like that! We managed to put down our jobs and work commitments this weekend and spend some quality time as a family.
It felt so long overdue, which then brought a cloud of guilt over me.

We’ve made a pact this weekend to make sure that we plan a ‘trip’ somewhere new at least once a month (don’t fear we do go out locally with the kids regularly).

Days like yesterday remind you why you do everything you do, and sometimes it’s necessary to put down/ stop what it is you’re doing and embrace every moment. If you’re not careful, you blink and those first few years are gone, just like the weekend! Our gorgeous Lilly Bea is 10 this week and I am just mind blown as to where the last 6 years have gone 🤯!

For now, it’s back to it: coffee, mum bun, smash this weeks goals.
