Kaleidoscope at St Clement's: Long Places, Dodging, and Short Places all at once!
Last week I mentioned the Module 2 ART course at St Clements.
This is still on 9th November, but it has changed from M2C to M2F - so it's now support to teach ringers from rounds to Plain Hunt (rather than rounds to methods) A subtle difference!
There's a new link, and no need for a pass code. Here's he link, and three people have signed up already to the 10 places available, so don't delay.

It'll be a brilliant day!
Teaching Course - Module 2F - Cambridge About this course: This course shows new and experienced teachers how to support their students and develop the necessary foundation skills for good ringing and then move forward to ringing changes....
'Ringing Together' at St Clement's this morning. Quite a Kaleidoscope session this week. Join us any Thursday at 10.30.
We'd love to have more people involved with teaching at St Clement's; just as you are, or you may wish to learn more and gain a qualification. The Association of Ringing Teachers (ART) offers two different courses: Module 1 teaches you to teach bell handling and early skills, Module 2 teaches you to teach basic change ringing. Each of these are delivered as a one day course, with follow up over a few months to gain qualification. They are suitable for those who have not taught before, but also for experienced teachers to share and acquire some new ideas, maybe!
If would like to do the ART Module 2, to teach basic change ringing, we're running a course at St Clement's on Saturday 9th November. You can sign up from this link. Priority sign-up for local ringers (you!), until 29th August, requires the PIN 9900, but you can still apply after that. There's no need to have done the Module 1 (bell handling) course first, but you must have rung a quarter peal on an inside bell of Bob Minor or above.

There is NO 'Ringing Together' session this Thursday, 25th July, due to a memorial service in the church. It will then carry on as normal throughout the summer, and we may get some younger ringers out of school too!

We have a 'new' bell! Try out of the demo bell. Still a bit loud, but getting there.

Last of the current series of Ringing Together (rounds and call changes) at St Clement's this Wednesday, 29th November, at 3.30pm. We're there for you! Lynne.
Hello all,
Just a reminder about our weekly Wednesday rounds and call changes, 3.30pm, at St Clement’s Cambridge. Experienced ringers available to ring with you.
We'll keep going this week and next, then probably stop for December and reevaluate in the new year. No-one came for the last two weeks, so maybe a different time or day would be better?
Lynne.
Ringing Together (rounds and call changes) this Wednesday 8th November, St Clement's Cambridge, at 3.30pm, as usual. Keep supporting this valuable weekly daytime practice if you can please!
