I'm so happy to finally share these photos. Even happier to offer them for download for anyone, to do whatever you want with them. All I ask is for credit. Would be cool to hear what you do with them too! Donation would be much appreciated, but not expected.

This was the trip of a lifetime. I took many photos I'm very proud of. They've sat on a hard drive for 2 years, until recently when I finally sat down and edited them.

This is only a selection. There's more on my Pexels page, and more to be uploaded later. (There's a few on there not from NZ too... But most are!)

Thanks to for offering this platform where people can accessibly make use of my photos. So they don't just sit on a hard drive, or fade into obscurity here on IG.

In memory of our loving friend & creative collaborator Colin Stevens.

I met Colin 2010, when he auditioned for the lead role in the short film "Thrown" (see last 5 photos). He blew us away. Got the part of course and happily performed in and helped for further auditions, rehearsals, test shoots and the final shoot. Many wonderful memories of working with him on that film. He's a huge part of a film I'm still very proud of. It'd have been very different without him. We share that passion to create and to collaborate to create.

Between then and now, me and Carl worked with Colin many times. His own impactful short film "Bubbly" & working to facilitate many arts activities for young people. Always upbeat and a pleasure to be around.

In our most recent collaboration (2019) he gave a powerful performance in a scene for our feature film Hard Edges (still being edited). Me & Carl watched the scene recently and agreed that even though it was a laugh for us to shoot (another fun memory, see first 4 photos!), the scene is very intense and not funny at all. An unflinching angry performance.

I've seen, supported and been aware of his wonderful work outside of film too. Namely on stage and fighting against NHS privatisation.

Colin is an absolutely wonderful example of a human being. I'll miss him, but his spirit, legacy & memory will be with us always.
