Cannock officers are investigating an incident which took place around 6pm on Friday (3 February) at Cannock Park, Stafford Road next to the Leisure Centre where a teenage male was assaulted and knocked unconscious. Six teenagers have been arrested and bailed in relation to this, but officers are appealing for witnesses or any information which may assist the investigation. Cannock Chase Council has been awarded more than £3m for projects designed to boost the local economy and businesses. The funding is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and will cover the current and next two financial years.
