Winter........is coming, are you ready?

Now that things have calmed down a little, it's back to catching up with some of the custom work!

Now THAT has been a crazy, crazy, crazy week! Quite possibly the busiest 4 days since we opened in November.

Lucky for me i have a day off tomorrow and can catch a bit of downtime before next week which is even busier!

On that note, please note that the Kent Merlin store IS CLOSED tomorrow, its been on the Merlin website for weeks, its on google, Its been on the shop door, if you hear of any club members planning on stopping by the shop, please stop them from coming tomorrow!

Some of you are already thinking about indoors! The first set of Easton X23 custom wrapped arrows ahead of the incoming season......are you already ready?

Please share with your club members! We dont want anyone to travel to the shop only to find it closed next week!

It looks like Ventress is finally getting retirement, the new Mybo Talis took exactly 11 minutes to set up and produce these results. An absolutely beautiful bow that feels great in the hand, the balance is beyond anything I have shot before. I guess I just need to take it outside and see if these results continue at longer range......

But here's a question, every bow needs a name, what should I call this one?

Sometimes the simplest arrow wrap can give striking results.

So, ........today I am having the most ridiculously good fun taking part in the Bodnik Bow Hunter Challenge hosted by the wonderful SENLAC archers. For those who know me well will tell you I have been avoiding field archery for years because I was afraid I would enjoy myself too much and not want to shoot target archery anymore. Well this weekend isn't helping because I am surrounded by the most beautiful woodland, the most wonderful company of people and having an absolute blast! And this is only day 1!

Good morning everyone! We have a (very) last minute opening in the diary today, the morning is clear up until 12pm. Please be aware that Blean Fete is happening today and with such glorious weather the parking might be a challenge! But fret not dear archers, there is always room for one more.........bow, haha

Not to be confused with your local petting Zoo.......Merlin Kent is babysitting a mountain of 3D targets from SRT and from Wildcrete ready to be collected by the team hosting the Bodnik shoot in July! (I did try to get Rosie and Mabel to pose amongst them but it wasn't going to happen!)

Are there any archery clubs in the Bethersden area (near Ashford) or archers looking to start a club? Been having a chat with someone today who has a cricket ground and is looking for other groups interested in making use of the field, the plot is 150yards x 100 yards approximately. Anyone interested please get in touch with me by messenger and I will connect you to the person involved.
