… when the sun drops and all you have is light from the RV …. .

The dogs feel just at home in the RV as they do when home. .. .

5 days completely unplugged with no cell coverage, no people, mountains, river, native bush - bliss! .

Finally, we have time off for a five day adventure … ready to roll! .

Goodbye snow | capped mountains …. .

Last day … and she was a beaut! .

As we drove, our dinner was in the slow cooker, slowly cooking for free - care of the solar setup - thanks sun!

Yup this will do for a few nights … .

Glorious morning … snow on them there mountains - but she’s muddy. Love the outside hot/cold shower to warmly wash down the doggies before they come inside. .

Storm they said - and yup … 1deg, very wet and still pouring. Thank goodness for diesel heating. 22deg inside and toasty. Thank goodness for large shed to hang out for dogs while eating bones and for coats and jackets drying. Albeit no sun, solar ticking away nicely and maintaining batteries well. And we’re well off the ground if nature wants to flood entirely. Quiet avo me thinks. .

Karcher Vac the number one morning routine in winter to suck up moisture on the windows. With two humans, two dogs and having the temp at 15deg inside overnight (thanks diesel heating) - we had 500ml this morning to collect. Love these appliances - super quick and easy, looks good too and battery lasts ages. ….

Friends weekend place Peel Forrest overlooking the river … he thought we’d get into paddock for river views but didn’t count on our overall length … tried once but no way we can manoeuvre enough to get through tight drive curves … oh well, we’re happy enough - as are the dogs clearly …. .

Woop woop … off for 7 days going bush - dogs on board! Giving this baby a run mid winter and see how she goes. We’ve had so much rain today fortunately cleared for our packing her up … snow is forecast! Bring it on ❤️ .. .ps anyone notice the new wheels 🤔.
