Hello there! First post of 2024 from me. They were very few and far between last year. My new job and managing two boys under 3 didn’t give me a great deal of time to spend on Babi Bach, although I’ve always been quietly packing your orders in the background. Arthur has only just turned one, and already they are squabbling over toys 😅 Did not expect that to kick in so soon! 🙃

This print has picked up a lot of pace in the sales department lately, and if you saw my stories you already saw this new colour way I have ready to upload to my Etsy shop. Keep an eye out, it’s coming soon!

Good morning! Bore da! You might have seen on my story I mentioned I've been dabbling with some designs outside of the kid's wall art realm lately, and it's been a lot of fun!

I still absolutely love creating prints for parents and their little ones, and will keep doing so, but I'm also excited at the idea of creating colourful, contemporary prints for every wall of your home! Just like this one. Perfect for brightening up those kitchen walls or shelves.

Thank you so much for the messages of support and solidarity on my stories last night! So many in the same boat and also those who have come out the other side. I know I'm in the thick of it right now and it will get easier 😅 The struggle to know what to do with those couple of hours each evening is real! Clean the bathroom, or put another wash on, get the laptop out and be creative, or just slump on the sofa and consume lots of really unhealthy snacks! 😛

I did get sent this amazing customer pic which picked me up right up! Beautifully styled too.

I wanted to create a design which could work in any room, not just something for the nursery. I wanted them to be modern and stylish and a bit different to what you'd expect. They will come in a number of different colourways or I can work with you to create a custom colour scheme.

I'm just ironing out some minor details but these will be available on my Etsy soon. Keep an eye out for updates!

Welsh Mother's Day card now available on my Etsy shop. It went down well last year so I thought I'd bring it back.

I went a bit quiet and stopped posting my abc illustrations as we had a gazillion illnesses in the house 🤢but also because I was worried I would be boring you all a bit with it 🙈 So I thought I would post them more sporadically from now on.

I’ve been busy finishing the posters when I can though, mainly in the late hours and I think we’re nearly there! Just need to do some sample prints to check colours. What do we think? Colourful enough? 😅

D is for drum or drwm 🥁

Ch is for Chwilen or Beetle in English. Ch is a letter/sound not in the English alphabet. I don't know the best way to format the Ch like the rest, which show caps and lowercase. But here is a cute ladybird beetle for you this morning.

C is for crocodeil/crocodile

I was close to drawing chicken pox for C as it's what has consumed our lives for almost a week 😅 But I thought it wouldn't look as cute.

I remember it being quite a few spots and a mild fever, but it hit hard in this house with poor E really suffering and then proceeding to milk it a little bit 😆

First post of 2023! It's still January too, just about. I've given HAPUS a bit of a glowup, it's brighter, bolder and happier! I hope you like it!

Hello! It has been a while! My Insta break was never meant to last so long, but I just enjoyed it so much 🙈 Mainly because of life reasons but also because I haven't been able to spend much time on Babi Bach for a while now. The break also allowed me to reflect on Babi Bach and what I like, don't like, where I want to take it.

In the meantime, little update, for cost cutting reasons I've taken my website down, so Etsy is currently the only place you can buy my prints. Link still in my bio. I am hoping to slowly add more bits soon.

Behind the scenes there has been LOTS going on. We had covid, followed by a lovely family Bluestone break, then Emrys turned 2 😭 and amongst all of that I've been busy creating something else 👶

I won't be inundating you with bump photos don't worry 😜 but I'm not quite sure yet how this is going to affect BB going forward. Time will tell!

Lastly, thank you so much to everyone who has stuck around while I haven't been on here. Appreciate every one of you! I will be trying to post more regularly, but I'm definitely going to be more laid back about it.

I haven't created many new designs lately, but when I do, you can guarantee a lot of the time they'll be inspired by my 22 month old.

Currently he is obsessed with shapes! I have to rewind and rewatch a particular part of a popular (and slightly creepy) animated kids show, where shapes dance on a train, over and over again. So obviously I had to make him a Shapes poster. Current favourite is diamond 😁

And of course there is a Welsh version too.

And that's another weekend gone in a blink of an eye!. I hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

I feel like the worst mother this weekend after E fell over at the garden centre and is now sporting a nasty black eye. I know this is the age of bumps and bruises, and he is absolutely fearless, but the mum guilt is very strong! And I'm scared to take him anywhere for the fear of what people will think 🤦‍♀️ Anyone relate?

I've been so desperate to share for so long, and if you follow then you would have seen that they've just released a new Welsh summer fabric collection, which I had the great pleasure of working on!

When Karen and Laura asked me to collaborate on a spring/summer pattern which would feature the Welsh language, it was like a dream come true. My design on kids clothing!? It was the easiest yes!

The exclusive design comes in a range of colours, head over to to see them all!

I had so much fun designing them, and learnt a lot along the way too. I'm so grateful to Karen and Laura for this opportunity and can't wait to, hopefully, work with them again. I also can't wait to see these designs being worn out in the world! 😄

It was a daff last year, this year it's the iconic leek. Which is a much older symbol of Wales.

The most famous story pertains to a battle between the Welsh and the Saxons in the 6th century. Before the fighting began, a celtic monk called David, convinced the Welsh soldiers to fasten leeks to their helmets so that they would be able to tell friend from foe. Soldiers believed it was the leeks which had allowed them to gain victory!
