Our final year short film Morlyn Sbwriel/ Litter Lagoon has won an RTS Award!
Thankyou to the RTS for this award, our brilliant university lecturers for their support, and our talented team for their hard work on our final year short film.
I hope we will continue to create inspiring and fun work as animators, artists, Illustrators, VFX and sound designers in our respective industries.
I'm honoured and immensly motivated to make a career in the Television industries- thankyou .
Personally, this has encouraged my aim to show even small changes when repeated by all can really make a difference to our environment .
I want to let kids know that they are not powerless in encouraging and creating change and I'd love to continue making funny little short animations to do so!

Midjourney messing and here are two inspirations for landscapes from a story of mine I've been developing- each world belonging to a different character from my archive- I wonder if you can guess who?
I'm getting more and more interested in the capabilities of Ai art and hope soon to be able to turn these into proper illustrations . As generating environment designs has never been my strong point I think this refrence is going to be a great help!

Annecy 2022! Thankyou so much to the for enabling me to be here! It was amazing and I truly wish to comeback someday with my animation classmates 🙏💙
Tried to make the most of the events in spite of the temperatures- yet I didn't have chance to meet some of the people I intended on meeting, go to all of the events, or do too much networking due to the heat causing my skin to react a little badly - but to all of you guys I did have chance to meet I want to say thankyou, and I wish you all the best! (And hopefully see you next time)
Morlyn Sbwriel | Litter Lagoon
I and a team of animators, 3D artists, sound designers and illustrators have been working on a colourful and lighthearted 3D kids short to hilight the issue of plastic pollution on our beautiful Welsh beaches.
We follow Dylan, an intrepid but mischievous little boy who finds a rockpool and fills it with his plastic toys- only to find that this rockpool is infact a magical gateway to the litter filled lair of a very disgruntled merman!
I want to thank everyone involved in the making of this film and say that I'm honoured to have been able to pitch concept and direct this piece with all of you amazing creatives!
My responsibilities as an artist here include: Initial concepts, Character and Prop modelling , Layout , Lighting , Rendering and Editing/Compositing

Had a spectacular time at - was a little sad that I couldn't do more volunteering and attend all of the events (as our deadlines are looming and I'm finally feeling that director-dread XD) but I'm sure I'll be back in the years to come!
I have tagged some of the amazing people and studio representatives that were in attendance- I hope that you all had a brilliant time and I look forwards to seeing you all prosper on in the wacky world of animation 💙
