Located downstairs, this will significantly enhance our accessibility to serve even more patients. But wait, there's more! 🌟 We are delighted to welcome Josh Scaife to our dedicated team, joining forces with the exceptional Jessica Morrick, who will also be increasing her days with us.

Both Josh and Jess have plenty of experience with complex root canal treatments. They have both completed postgraduate diplomas in endodontics, passing with distinction. This just confirms what we already know - their commitment to excellence and dedication to enhancing their skills! 🦷💫

We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have not only fantastic dentists but also outstanding individuals in Josh and Jess.

This addition to our team along with Cassandra and Andrew means that we will be able to double our endodontic capacity to at least two full-time equivalent surgeries each week, ensuring that you receive the highest standard of personalized care and expertise.

This was an interesting re treatment case. 

On cursory examination of the pre operative x ray it appears to just have an under prepared distal canal. On closer examination however you may see something hiding in the background. 

The tooth is in fact a "radix molaris" meaning there is an additional distal root. There were in fact 7 root canals to clean and shape! 

Normal service has resumed.

However, when I accessed the canal and removed the old GP, my magnified view showed there was further buccal extension of the canal with a natural ledge in the instrumented lingual aspect. A narrow canal was identified beyond the ledge. Without magnification and small hand files it can be very difficult to consistently locate and access important anatomy.
