Hi guys just wanted to provide you with an update in regard to how Pink Kiwi will be operating in February. You will be pleased to know we will remain open for eating in but provide a reduced service from 6 days to 3 days a week. We will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday serving breakfast, lunch, coffee & cake. During the rest of the week we will be closed but working on other areas of the business and introduce: A catering service providing hot & cold buffets, Online & collection only for dinner, Events & pop ups including Cardiff Mela. Venue hire for parties and workshops will still be available The easiest and most stress free option right now would be to give up. I’ve contemplated on this decision and came very close but with a positive mental attitude I quickly shut that option down. It would be such a shame to see my hard work of 3 years to come to an end without a fight and there is one more left in me. Personal growth is a process of both understanding yourself and pushing yourself to reach your highest potential. 📣 Important Announcement 📣 Pink Kiwi is unique, diverse and full of character. A safe place for customers to open up and just talk. An environment that feels homely and welcoming. A happy place full of love, no judgement, smiles and authenticity. It feels fantastic to know that I created this all on my own. I made it happen by acting with integrity and choosing to be kind. When Pink Kiwi first opened it was covid and when lockdown was lifted people wanted and needed interaction with actual humans. So I displayed empathy where needed and approached customers with compassion. I continued to build rapport and nearly 3 years later here we are today. Pink Kiwi has never been easy since the day I opened and I really don’t see it improving unless I make some drastic changes. When you survive one difficult obsactle you’re faced with an another but you just learn to mange better and find solutions. This has been a difficult decision but one I have to make. Pink Kiwi will continue to trade as a cafe up until the end of year and will cease trading during the week. The focus will move to other areas of the business for the foreseeable future. I hope to come back sometime in the new year with a different approach with the view to not take the much love Pink Kiwi away from you all completely. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting you all over the past 33 months. What I have loved the most is getting to know people and I have formed so many beautiful friendships. I still absolutely love coming to work every day as it feels more like a hobby than a day in the kitchen. I am grateful to you for all your support, kind words and love that I have been displayed so thank you very much. I look forward to having a fantastic month of December and would love to end my year on an absolute high so please continue to show your support where you can. We will be open all the way up to the end of the year including Christmas Day. This is not a goodbye, more of a to be continued……

Also known as Tres Leches this is hands down the most delicious cake I have ever tasted! It is a Biscoff sponge cake soaked in 3 different types of milk. Evaporated, condensed and full fat milk topped with Biscoff fresh whip cream drizzled with more Biscoff sauce and crumbs!!
