I opened up Just Eat and was (not really) shocked at how far I had to scroll down to see a Local, Independent business on there. I first had to scroll past the big names to reach a small cafe.

THIS is a contributing reason to why your favourite local Caerphilly businesses are shutting down around us. The big names can afford to open up, produce food and drinks at a mass scale and pump out products to you, but at the cost of your average Caerphilly chef, who struggles to keep the doors open on their business.

PLEASE, we aren't just another food ordering app. WE CARE ABOUT LOCAL! We've been offered by the 'big names' to come on our platform which we have REFUSED because we believe we should SUPPORT LOCAL.

Your local cafes and restaurants buy produce from local farms, local companies. They sponsor your children's football teams. They offer vouchers and free food as prizes for your raffles. They offer warm spaces and friendly chats.

By using Caerphilly Eats you are putting more money per order in that businesses pockets. They use their own delivery drivers and STAY IN CHARGE of the food all the way to your consumption. No "it's the apps fault" / "no, it's the restaurant's fault" when you have an issue.
