Check out this poem wrote and performed by Charlotte This week has been adoption awareness week and we ask you to look at how we've answered: What do adopted people look like? Many people ask what does it look or feel like being adopted. Some of us, as young adopted people have been asked this to! This seems like a strange question, we’re young people, it’s not like we have 3 heads or something! 😊 In South Wales Connected we have been creating poems to share our thoughts about how it feels to us to be adopted. Check out the pictures below to see what we’ve created, we’re all aged 7-12. CONNECT Youth workers try to make sure things are young person friendly. Young people have told us some professionals talk to young people using lots of long and complicated words.
