Hope you are all looking forward to the weekend! Please find below details regarding the forthcoming black belt pre-grading dates:

BLACK BELT FORMS:

Could all Black Belt Application forms be with Master Peros no later than 25th March 2024.

Please find below confirmation of the Pre-Grading timings for this forthcoming session:

If you have any students who would be interested in taking their Star Grading, would you please let me know so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Dates of pre-grading sessions:

30th March 2024
6th April 2024
13th April 2024 (plus Star Grading)

Venue - Tae Kwon Do Academy, 194b Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff

Times are as follows:

1st Kup Students Grading: 09:30 - 10:30
1st Kup (Not Grading) and 2nd Kup students: 10:30 - 11:30
1st Degree Black Belts: 11:30 - 12:45
2nd Degree Black Belts and above: 12:45 - 14:00

All students must attend at least one of the 3 sessions (£5 per session). If a student is grading in April (no payment for the sessions), then they must attend all 3. All star grading students must attend all 3 sessions.

Would you please remind all students that they must wear the official TAGB Dobok for all pre-grading sessions.

A reminder that there will be a technical session with Master Peros this Saturday 10am-11:30am £5. These sessions

The WTAGB has organised these technical training sessions on Saturday with Master Peros. This is a technical improvement session. Participants will not need to bring any sparring gear and you can wear their club suit if you wish.

I would be grateful if you could promote this session to your students, especially the start time of 10:00 - thank you.

Many students and instructors who have attended these sessions have benefited from the individual time, the many clear and succinct explanations, the methods of repetition, the expert analysis, the unique drills and the sheer fun of the session.

Massive congratulations to our Samurai receivers 👏👏 It was great to see our own Welsh achievers received their awards at the British yesterday. Oliver and Maya Le took home the Junior Boys Red belt Grading Award and Ladies Black Belt Grading Award. Kieran Sullivan our men’s Welsh Team Captain, was awarded the Best Male international Fighter 2023 👏👏👏 TAGB Wales would like to say thank you to all competitors for supporting The British event yesterday. Thank you for trying your best and don’t stop believing in yourself. Ousss 👊🏼

Good evening everyone,

Reflecting back on the performance of our Welsh clubs at the World Championships, we can be justly proud of our achievements. Wales attracted the majority of the medals. I am also sure that we all want to keep our high standards, and it is with this in mind that I write to you this evening asking you to promote the forthcoming Technical Session which will be taking place this Saturday, 11th November.

The session will run from 10:00 - 11:30 with Master Peros at the academy in Cardiff. Club suits may be worn and no sparring equipment is required. The cost of the session is £5
