The TRUTH about Hyaluronic acid

You keep hearing about Hyaluronic Acid and that our moisturise should have it in but what exactly is it?

Let me explain in easy to understand terms without baffling you with fancy words.

Hyaluronic acid is a a product now loved in the beauty industry becasue of its hydration and glowing benefits to the skin. It’s a product we already have and make naturally in the skin.

Think of it as Jelly cubes.

When we want to make jelly we add water to jelly cubes and it doubles/ trippers in size. This is the same action as Hyaluronic acid. Ut hold 100x it’s own weight in water 💦

Having products that contain hyaluronic acid or actually putting hyaluronic acid in to the skin then adding water means it naturally absorbs water, plumping and firming the skin up to 100x!!!

What is brow lamination, tinting and grooming?

A process which takes the brows from zero to complete hero. The process is completed by relaxing the hair and fixing in to a well groomed shape. The brow hair is then tinted and styled to suit the clients requirements. The brows are then groomed by waxing and tweezing in to shape and make up can then be applied for that special night out!

Brow lamination and grooming is provided at a minimum of £25 - £50 per service.

What is lash lifting?

A natural wow factor for the lashes. The lashes are relaxed by chemical process and fixed in to a lifted position to suit the clients specifications. The process can include a tints also which give the ultimate wow factor without the need for false lashes.

Lash lamination services are provided at a minimum of £35-£70 per service which is a high profit margin for any salon!!!

Muscle stimulation and contouring. Used in the BBL treatment, microcurrent is amazing at stretching and shrinking the muscles to reprogrammed the muscle memory and reshape and contour bums, legs, arms, back fat stomach, chins and face.

Social media is a great resource for painting a picture of what ever you put out there, ur not busy tell the world you are, your not a size 6, use a filter…. There you go now you are!! what this does however is REAL people start to believe it too.

Social media is one of the best tools for marketing your beauty business, BUT get in and GET OUT!

Make a plan each week, schedule your post and spend little time on there, this will stop the insecure scrolling.

5️⃣ THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MICRO NEEDLING

Let’s clear some things up about micro needling 💉

1️⃣ As therapists you are only insured to go to a depth of 1.5mm on the face and 2mm on body.

2️⃣ ONLY sterile ampoules and serums should be used in the skin that are sterile, ( never come in a bottle with a pipette!)

3️⃣ After treatment ONLY sterile masks should be used (one use in a pkt)

4️⃣ No MASSAGE should be done as this may cause infection

5️⃣ Cosmeceutical SPF should be applied to protect the skin
