Drink plenty of water. Now the warmer weather has re appeared we need this healthy habit even more.
Keep it up for a clear healthy mind, fresher skin and to aid your digestion too.
Water is a cheap choice for quenching your thirst at any time. It has no calories and contains no sugars that can damage teeth.
Plain tea, fruit tea and coffee (without added sugar) can also be healthy.
If you do not like the taste of plain water, try sparkling water with one of our water flavourings or add a slice of lemon or lime.
Don't know if you're drinking enough? Then check your urine colour - always a good measure.

Today, I'd like to focus on how to get through Day 3 which is typically a tough day on plan.
Depending on which step you follow, you will eat between three products per day (Step 1) or just one product with three meals and snacks per day (step 5).
The step you start on depends on how much weight alongside any medical conditions.
All the steps involve eating less calories than usual, but step 1 and step 2 involve very little carbohydrates.
Day 3 is the renowned as the hardest day before the hunger starts to ease off and any side effects like headaches or being lethargic subside.
Here are some tips for helping to get through Day 3 on plan:
Drink plenty of water, at least 2.25 litres ๐ฆ
Make jelly sweets for when the cravings hit ๐ฌ
Make up a mug of 121 golden vegetable water flavouring to satisfy any hunger pangs ๐ฅฃ
Drink a cup of flavoured or herbal tea or hot flavoured water using our water flavourings ๐ต
Space your products/meals out well over the day.
Distract yourself and keep busy or have a long shower ๐๐ฟ
Pamper yourself or go for a walk ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ

๐ง Water Water Water Water ๐ง
How many people do you know that say....
'I don't want to drink water before I go to bed, because I'm going to have to get up at night'
Well apparently heart gravity holds water at the bottom of the body, and when it is in the vertical position the legs swell. When you lie down, the lower body (legs, etc.) are up to the kidneys, and that's when the kidneys eliminate water because it's easier.
It takes minimum water to help eliminate toxins from the body.
Drinking water at certain points during the day maximises its effectiveness in the body, and the right time to drink it is....

Two glasses of water after waking up helps activate internal organs.
โ
One glass of water 30 minutes before a meal helps digestion.
โ
One glass of water before taking a bath helps lower blood pressure.
โ
One glass of water before going to bed helps prevent brain stroke or heart attack.
Sleeping time water will also supposedly help prevent leg cramps. Leg muscles are looking for hydration and hence the cramps awaken you.
Not entirely based on hard evidence facts but I think it's is fair to say WATER is very important to us in so many ways!

RESET your MINDSET
No matter what went down yesterday... today is a new day!
Fear of being a failure can flood your mind and it can feel overwhelming.
If you experience weight going in the wrong direction, it is essential to reflect on where you are at and what you need to work on.
For example, do you need to:
- Stop the mindless grazing
- Increase your exercise (even just a 10 min walk a day is a great place to start)
- Improve your hydration (working towards minimum of 2.25 litres of water a day)
- Increase your Step 2 protein or products while on plan to help combat hunger
- keep well away from sugar (the plan is sweet enough!), and *carbs which your body turns to fat!
Get back on track and refocused on smashing your goals.
