It's all happening at Priory Park on 28th July! The Essex Yeomanry Band is performing a FREE concert on the bandstand as part of the 'Music In The Park' series. Plus, the park is playing host to the Lazydays craft drinks festival for the weekend with performances running throughout the day. DARTFORD CROSSING
We're on the move! Join the Essex Yeomanry Band as we head over the river on Sunday 23rd June. It's your chance to hear proper band music, from a proper military band dressed in proper King's uniform – just what you'd expect for an authentic Sunday afternoon in the park.

PLANE AND SIMPLE
We're looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 21st April. The band will be playing from 11:45–12:30pm and 1:30-2.15pm. Make your way to the Vulcan Restoration Trust, Hangar 5, South Road, London Southend Airport, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 6YU to see Vulcan XL426 in its hangar.
The bomber will be joined by a selection of vintage military vehicles, including tanks, armoured cars and Land Rovers. Plus, the Rochford Fire Service will have one of its fire engines on display.
General admission is £8.00 for adults with under-16s admitted FREE. Tickets will be on sale at the gate or from the link below.

COME AND EXPERIENCE AVIATION HISTORY!
A visit to the Vulcan Day is a great chance to get ‘up close and personal’ with Vulcan XL426 in its hangar at London Southend Airport. You can walk round the plane and, for an additional fee, you can climb inside for a guided tour of the cockpit and see what it was like to fly in this huge aircraft! Once again, Essex Yeomanry Band is proud to support the Vulcan Restoration Trust to help make the day even more interesting.
General admission is £8.00 for adults with under-16s admitted FREE. Tickets will be on sale at the gate or from the link below. Cockpit visits are an additional £8.00 per person applicable to both adults and under-16s.

We're proud to welcome musicians of a reasonable standard ages 16 to 80 on woodwind, brass or percussion. The band is holding an Open Rehearsal to welcome potential new players and establish more links with deps too!

A Christmas Carol — Southend Choirs A celebration of Christmas interweaving the classic story by Dickens with new, favourite and traditional festive music. Adults £7.50, under 16 £1.50.

A really positive participation in the City of Chelmsford Service of Remembrance this morning. The skies may have opened but all in good spirits. Also lovely to hear the beautiful music of Chelmsford Salvation Army Band during the Service.

Remembrance Weekend starts a day early this year with Bandmaster WO1 Greg White representing the EY by playing “The Last Post” and “Reville” for an early Remembrance Service at Grays Convent High School. Proud to be a part of our Essex communities.

A wonderful day today. St. George’s Day may not have brought the kindest weather, but a great engagement supporting the Vulcan Restoration Trust today for their open day. A really positive day today. A rehearsal, AGM, then Band Meal! Thank you all for coming along; it was nice to be able to unwind as a team and enjoy each other's company. We must do it again!

Really honoured today to assist with the Service of Laying-Up of a Standard, and dedication of a new one for the RBL today at Chelmsford Cathedral, playing next to the EY's own memorial.

Fantastic rehearsal this morning looking at some summer favourites; even made time to run a cornet section feature and Peter Graham’s “Dimensions”.

Remembrance is an important time for all of us; this year we were proud and privileged to take part in the Chelmsford civic service of remembrance, marching as part of a team with KEGS CCF. On Armistice Day our BM WO1 Greg White also played the Last Post and Reville for Grays Convent High School. We are proud to be part of the Chelmsford and wider Essex community.

So pleased to see so many people out to mark Remembrance Sunday in our County City of Chelmsford, it was an honour to be involved again. Thanks from us to KEGS CCF for marching with us and to Chelmsford Salvation Army Band (and their Bandmaster, Alexander Campbell) for accompanying the service.

Today is Remembrance Sunday. Please do join us in Chelmsford City Centre for the Civic Service of Remembrance as we remember those who have fallen for our freedom.
